Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Dubrovnik

We had a fantastic stay at Marina’s place. We booked very last minute (24 hours’ notice) but Marina made it very easy for us. We loved the house - it was spacious, clean and tidy and the pool was great for the kids. Marina was very welcoming, very responsive and very helpful. Everything went very smoothly! The house is about a ten minute walk from the sea. It is a steep path which but worth it for the beautiful water on arrival. There isn’t a beach as such but there is a natural swimming pool and a designated swimming area which was great. One point to note is that parking is a few minutes walk from the house near the church. However you can pull up a short al walk from the house to load and unload cases so it was no problem for us. We had a great time and would happily stay at Marina’s place again.

The place is absolutely stunning. Great for a peaceful retreat. House has everything you need. The kids loved the pool and exploring the grounds. Ana is an amazing host. Always quick to respond and was so welcoming when she received us. Recommend to rent a car to reach the house, Would also Makes it easy to roam around.

We had a wonderful ten days in Villa Casia. It surpassed our high expectations! The villa itself is spacious, comfortable and in a beautiful setting away from the crowds . We loved exploring the quiet local area on foot, swimming in the river across from the house and watching the boats go by. We bought Dubrovnik Pass 7 day tickets and used the local buses to get in and out of Dubrovnik easily and also allowed us access to many of the sights. Some days we stayed out of the city and went to the lovely beach at Stikovica just up the coast. Djurdjica was a fabulous host. She responded quickly to our messages and gave great local advice. The boat trip she helped arrange was one of many highlights of our stay. For all of us it was our first time in Croatia. I’m sure it won’t be the last. The small part we visited was beautiful, pristine and ideal for the range of ages in our group. The people we met were all very friendly and welcoming. The weather was perfect too.

A really lovely, very cosy flat. Lots of space including lovely little terrace at the front. Its in a great location close to buses, and the beach at lapad. But also nice and queit cul-de-sac. We were made to feel very welcome and at ease. Definitely recommend.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Villa Matej. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location and views were beautiful. Walk down to nearest shop (Studenac Market) in 20 mins, or get an Uber to Dubrovnik Old Town in 10-15 mins. We enjoyed swimming at the pristine beach over the road and relaxing poolside at the villa. We also did a private day trip to Bosnia (Kravice Waterfalls & Mostar Old Town) which was so worth it. We stopped at Ston on the way which was picturesque and full of historic charm. Matej was helpful in recommending local boat trips and restaurants but we sadly ran out of time for a boat trip. We will just have to come back!

Wish we had more time here! The place was so cute, lovely outdoor seating area, and very personal touches which made you feel right at home! Beds were comfy and shower was great, has lots of nice touches :)

Lovely, private, two bedroom apartment in a great location. We always prefer to stay in Gruž, rather than the Old Town - it's better value and far less hectic. Some great bars and restaurants (Dubrovnik Beer Company/Bistro49/Zrinski/Prova all recommended) within easy walking distance. Walking into the Old Town only takes 35-45 minutes with some fantastic views along the way. The apartment is spacious with a large terrace, clean and has a washing machine - very useful. Ivo was very quick to respond to messages. Would definitely stay here again.

20 min from the center, well-renovated house equipped with all comforts. Easy to find parking nearby, free.

Nene’s place was great - as advertised and a good value. Unfortunately, I didn’t do enough research and from the picture I thought it was overlooking old town. It is still a fine location - a quick Uber away (around 7-9 euros to old town) but I think my group would have enjoyed old town a little bit more. The host was fantastic, very responsive with quick recommendations when asked. Her dad was very sweet and even picked us up at the ferry station and helped us check into the apartment. We felt safe and not too loud for us at all.

The apartment is exactly as described, it was very clean and we had everything we needed and more! The garden is beautiful and peaceful, especially enjoyable after a day of visiting the crowded old town, and our daughters loved observing the turtles. Marija was extremely welcoming and helpful, easily reachable and warm. She left some local goodies for us which was a nice surprise. We forgot a charger when we checked out and Marija offered to send it to us to an address in Croatia which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely come back if we ever visit Dubrovnik again!

We had an amazing stay at Mara's beautiful place. Mara and her sister, Bruna, were incredibly accommodating with our late check in and helping us navigate the apartment. The apartment is a beautiful mix of old and new. The kitchen, rooms and bathrooms were modern and well stocked. We loved meeting Bruna and learning more about the art and antique pieces in the apartment and the beautiful private garden outside. We definitely highly recommend Mara's apartment - it's so close to the Old City but tucked away, away from the crowds and noise if the main street.

You have to take a taxi to the old town for about 5 minutes, and the grocery store is right next door, and it's a very clean and pretty house. There were stairs, so it was difficult to carry three large suitcases, but there is an elevator in the apartment!!

I would 20000000% come back here to stay. We really regretted not having booked for a longer stay because this genuinely is a nice home; Maria and Tomislav the hosts are amazing; the staff are helpful, there are plenty to do within walking distance (which sadly due to jetlag we wasted the opportunity to walk to nearby beaches). Did I mention the pool? Pool - amazing, heated, modern, nice furniture, beautiful limestone and natural rockcliffe over a private outdoor bar. The beds are so comfortable and the furniture are nicely kitted out. Sorry did I mention the view? I need to mention it 3 times. The view - the view - the view! Breakfast is amazing, have it in the restaurant downstairs or in your villa. There's literally zero fault to pick with this place, its beautiful, its clean, its convenient, its well run, its got friendly hosts, perfect location... can't wait to come back!

Miho’s place is fabulous! Just as everyone said, it is like staying in a 5 star hotel and the view is breathtaking! Also, Miho was so helpful and he treated us to an incredible assortment of beverages…so generous!! It is truly worth the money you pay, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Miho!!

Ivo was really friendly, responsive and approachable. He provided a welcome platter on arrival which was a lovely surprise. Arrived early and Ivo kindly dropped us off at a local restaurant and picked us up after, really kind, hospitable host. The villa itself was just the same as the pictures, location was very quiet and peaceful, local bakery walking distance and the Verandah restaurant highly recommended. Small supermarket also walking distance away to pick up essentials. Villa only 20 to 25 minutes from old town Dubrovik. Mihaela also arranged day trip tours and airport transfers which all worked out perfectly. Highly recommended

Great experience at the villa! It was breathtaking and in a beautiful location. They were very responsive when needing anything at all.

We had an absolutely wonderful 3 generational family holiday. The views and space are stunning/ a really beautiful willa, and so well equipped with everything we needed. We had bbqs several times and drove to the wonderful local village of Zaton for delicious meals right on the water. We loved every minute! Lovely pebble beaches close by! And a great bar platen close by gor pre dinner cocktails :) Matea our host was adorable and very helpful! Thsnks sll :)

Ivica was spectacular from the start of our booking. He went above and beyond. He welcomed us to his lovely home that was beyond our dreams. The view was amazing. All the different hang out areas were great for our family. The hot tub and pool view blew our mind. Ivica and his family were so welcoming and gave us fresh produce from their garden, coffee, milks, and different food items. He was so accommodating and gave us great recommendations for everything in the area. I wish I could have stayed forever. I will come back again and recommend all my friends and family to stay. You won’t be disappointed with this home. Croatia stole my heart. I can’t wait to come back.

The owners were very friendly but the highlight was the setting and location. Very private and lovely setting, private jetty was an extra special treat. Need to be mobile due to the steep steps but the setting is well worth it. Would definitely recommend for Dubrovnik area.

Just got back from this beautiful villa as a group of 11 girls. Communication from the host was excellent right from the beginning until the end. Loved the thoughtful touches in the villa such as drinks ready in the fridge, fruit, sweets, cotton buds etc. The villa is absolutely amazing and exceeded all expectation’s. It was clean and spacious, perfect for big groups. Location was perfect too. Thank you so much once again for letting us stay in your beautiful home, we will definitely return.

Villa Franklin exceeded all our expectations. It looked exactly as it did in the photos but had a really lovely feel about it!! It was beyond clean - absolutely spotless!! We didn’t do much cooking but when we did - everything we needed was there!! I can’t not mention the view - a superb view of old town, absolutely stunning 🤩 Mateo was a brilliant host and kindly carried our cases to and from the property up the steps. Thank you Mateo we loved Villa Franklin ❤️
