Our family traveled here from Chicago to visit our Dubuque family & this house will be our 2nd home away from home. This house was very clean and had a lot of amenities. The house was very comfortable and Abbey responds very quickly to your messages. I will definitely rent house again!♥️

Very old, nice museum-like house! Our crowd had plenty of room. It seemed there was always another room behind the next bend! Washer, dryer, AC, fridge, hot water, gas grill, dishwasher worked great. Kitchen was well supplied. Were short on washcloths so brought some from home. We enjoyed being close to things that we could walk….walked 5 miles the first day! We took the elevator down to the shopping district…ice cream and coffee shops! It was very nice to work with the owner. He was very helpful. We would consider this place again if we had need of this much room again. If you’re looking for a brand new, up-to-date place, this is not for you. It’s very comfortable and homey but a very old home with all of the things that brings, shared bathroom, single pane windows with storms, steep back stairs, light switches in funny places 😊 It was great 😊

I grew up in Saint donatus and know a lot of the locals down at Massey, it was an honor staying close to friends and family again. A remote location that captures the serenity and peacefulness of Iowa. I loved showing my wife and daughter the lands I used to call home.

Good location for our family vacation, not far from restaurants, tennis courts, and hiking trails at the Mines of Spain. The house was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed the ping pong table for evening games.

We had a quick wonderful stay. We are a family of 5 on a cross country road trip so this was a last minute overnight stay. The house was adorable, clean, and cozy. The owner was extremely kind and provided clear instructions and plenty of local recommendations. We wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend.

Only stayed ine night but it perfectly suited my needs while I was in town. Tanya was very responsive, responding within minutes of messages for check in and out. I would recommend this space to anyone passing through. I may stay again when I come back in town in a couple months.

Keisha was an absolutely excellent host. Everything that you need is provided and the location honestly couldn't be better, between 1-4 blocks of a walk there are multiple restaurants, a convenience store, a dollar store, a walgreens and a 24 hour laundromat. I definitely recommend this airbnb and I will stay with Keisha again.

The property was exactly as described, spotless, and located in a great area. We appreciated the thoughtful touches and prompt communication. The property was cool. Though I did realize how out of shape I was - winded every time I climbed the 2 steep floors to the unit. But so worth it. Spacious, adjustable climate (HVAC), TV, sprawl-able sofa and leather chairs. I was looking forward to having my coffee and reflection time on the back porch but, alas, the weather didn’t cooperate. Several dining options nearby and we walked over to the Fenelon Elevator for an epic view of the Mississippi River. Thanks for the memorable stay - it made a perfect landing on our adventure along the Mississippi River, from the headwaters in MN to the Gulf. Our Tip - Drop in to the Wicked Dame wine bar. - what a cast of characters we encountered.

Our stay was fantastic! This was our third stay at Shelly's property. Our accommodations were comfortable and spotless. Shelly was very accommodating and provided great local tips.

The condo was just as described. Cary clean and well cared for. It was the perfect location for our baseball tournament and walkable to the restaurants in town. Will definitely stay there again!

Simon’s place was perfect for our two night stay! It was walkable to lots of fun shops and restaurants in historic Dubuque, and located across from a lovely park where an arts festival was taking place during our stay. Being from the east coast originally, I love historic buildings with unique architecture and charm, even if they aren’t recently renovated or new and shiny. A cool building and unit if, like me, you appreciate this too! The unit itself was cozy for the two of us with great central A/C, and well worth what we paid. I typically don’t sleep well on spring mattresses, but Simon thoughtfully included a memory foam topper and high quality sheets which made the bed super comfortable. Highly recommend Simon and this listing!

Ryan’s place is always such a heartwarming environment and space to be. Very clean and well maintained, and he communicates promptly if needed. I would recommend any of his three properties to anyone and everyone!

We were in town for a wedding and stayed at Shelly’s place for the weekend. Her instructions to access the second level apartment were very clear and easy to follow! The place was so clean and very cute. It’s located in walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars! Would definitely stay there again!!
