Beach house holiday rentals in Dungeness

Thank you Sophie, the house felt like a home. The books, the toys, the rooms, the garden an added bonus for the little people. “but why can’t we stay longer” asked grandchild. Appreciated the earlier check in, and thank you for your flexibility and understanding with our car problems.

We had a pleasant stay, enjoyed the books available, as well as the bikes, it's really nice. The neighborhood is very quiet and pretty, ideal to unwind. The layout of the house and the decor are great. Thanks to Marianne for the exchanges and the quality of the information.

Can’t give a more positive review for Angela’s town house. It’s in the perfect location, a 2minute walk from the beach, we found parking quite easy and there’s loads to do in Margate. The house itself is wonderful, very clean, has ample supplies in terms of kitchen cookware, loads of board games, beds are comfy and everything you could think to need is available. Angela herself is a wonderful host, she provided us with a local guide for the restaurants, left us a lovely gift on arrival and was on hand to help with anything we needed. This stay was worth every penny!!

What a wonderful time we’ve just had in Rob’s beautiful beachside apartment. It certainly had the WOW factor with gorgeous furnishings, fabulous balcony and amazing views. The location was spot on, being located along the quieter end of the beach but still within easy walking distance to some cool bars and restaurants. We visited the bus cafe and beach bar with DJ set a stones throw from the property, along with the Fez bar, Bottega Caruso and the Micro brewery further into the town. The Turner Gallery, crab museum and TKE (all free) were great too. The communication with Rob and Fila was very pleasant and super efficient! We hope to return!

Spent a lovely and peaceful family weekend at Simone’s place. Upon arriving the Airbnb was very clean and tidy, looked just like the photos with some added personal touches in the kitchen (thank you). A lovely view over the beach which was so much calmer and peaceful in comparison to others beaches further along. 10 minute walk to the high street with some very nice independent shops. Simone was flexible on checkout which was great for us as we had nice weather the weekend we visited. 🙂 Would highly recommend, and I would definitely return!

Charming house ideal for our group. Coolly decorated. All corners are used. Spacious bedrooms. We were 5 adults and 3 kids. A terrace upstairs and a terrace on the ground floor. Umbrella and sun loungers provided. Super location near the sea and ice cream parlor chez Nicole! We would love to come back.

Charming little air bnb in an amazing location. Under 5 mins from beautiful Margate beach, but on a quiet side street. The property is a cosy, little 2 bed house. Homely and uncluttered. Even has a little, covered courtyard style garden for chillin' (and drying wet swimming trunks). The hosts, Zack & Georgia, were friendly, super helpful and polite. They always replied very quickly and you got the feeling nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The house even has free parking adjacent to the property. Which is super helpful, as anyone travelling with young children knows you tend to pack half the house. We'd def stay in this little gem of a find again and would highly recommend. What a fantastic stay we had! This place is more than just a caravan. It felt like home from home. Such a spacious, comfortable and all round perfect place to stay. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. The host was responsive and even came to the caravan to help us with some things when we arrived. Very close to whitstable, Hearn bay and not far from Broadstairs we visited them all. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay here, Nick was an excellent host, greeted us on arrival and very helpful with local info. Nick responded almost immediately to messages and had the pool ready for us to use as and when we requested. The kids had so much fun in the pool, the floats and toys left out to use were an added bonus! House was spotless and perfectly equipped. Would definitely Recommend and would happily return. Our second visit. Really enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. A peaceful location and we feel at home. Especially enjoyed the welcome pack. Thank you Ross and we will be back next year.

We stayed over the bank holiday weekend as a family of 3 and throughly enjoyed staying at Herons Nest! Jill’s communication prior to our booking was brilliant and extremely helpful. The caravan had everything we needed for our stay, including some complimentary snacks & drinks! We enjoyed playing with the selection of games and our son did lots of colouring in. Romney Park offers many activities for children and the evening entertainment was brilliant. We would highly recommend Heron’s Nest and hope to stay in the future. Thanks again to Jill & Geoff! We had a lovely stay at Jack and Claire's. One of the best places I've stayed at for a while! The accommodation was well maintained (newly redecorated) and we couldn't have been happier with the cleanliness. The site was a great holiday park with a good vibe, tidy and also clearly well looked after. The location of the site, as well as the chalet within the site, was perfect. Jack and Claire were very helpful, and we would absolutely love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Lorna's house. The views were fantastic, and the home was well-equipped, making it perfect for our family getaway. The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch! Lorna was a very helpful and responsive host, and the location between Herne Bay and Whitstable was ideal. We'd happily return and highly recommend this lovely seaside retreat.

We had a lovely stay.. the house is exactly as pictured with no nasty surprises. Amazing sea view from the master bedroom, with double doors leading onto the balcony. Stef was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Wild Cottage is a little gem. Hayley's attention to detail is extraordinary. It felt like she really cared about us and wanted us to have the best holiday we could. Wild Cottage wrapped itself around us and made us feel comfortable, relaxed, safe and special. All of this was so important to all of us but especially my granddaughter who gets anxious in new environments, she felt at home straight away and loved that she had been thought about by Hayley. In fact both of our granddaughters loved that. We , the adults, also loved those very personal touches that made our celebrations for our Ruby wedding anniversary, my 60th birthday, our son and daughter in laws 10th wedding anniversary , extra special. We would recommend Wild Cottage to anyone. Hayley has created a real haven.

We've been coming to Whitstable for years on days out but never stayed. This was a magical find, so comfortable, so close to the beach, shops and restaurants but also just set back enough from the high street and the seafront to have real peace and quiet and feel secluded. A real treasure and we'd be happy to stay again. Kids (13yo twins) also really enjoyed it - and that's a tough audience! Thank you Krista and Seaside Properties!

Cannot recommend Nicki and her house highly enough. The accommodation is spacious (much bigger than we anticipated from the pics), really comfy, incredibly well equipped, clean, in a great location for both St Leonards and Hastings. Its a quick walk to the beach, and also to some nice coffee shops and bakeries etc. The house itself is really comfy, and well decorated, loads of interesting art, and great outside patios. Nicki was super helpful and responsive.

Absolutely brilliant stay. The house exceeded our already high expectations. It’s a great space and interiors are beautifully designed with lots of nice touches and attention to detail, great local shower products and the like. Being a two minute walk from a tidal pool and beach was amazing, and the sauna was another highlight. Polly was proactive, helpful and friendly throughout with great recommendations. Highly recommended!!
