House holiday rentals in Dungeness

This is the second time we have stayed at Corrina’s holiday home and once again we found it to be squeaky clean, very well equipped, peaceful and a great location. The garden is home to a family of foxes, who were so confident, that they sunbathed on the lawn whilst we were sitting on the veranda. Corrina made us aware of check in details in very good time and left a number just in case we needed assistance, which I’m happy to say we didn’t need. The surrounding area is so lush and green, this time of year, and there is always plenty of interesting things to do nearby. We will visit again next year, but hopefully for longer this time. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay here, Nick was an excellent host, greeted us on arrival and very helpful with local info. Nick responded almost immediately to messages and had the pool ready for us to use as and when we requested. The kids had so much fun in the pool, the floats and toys left out to use were an added bonus! House was spotless and perfectly equipped. Would definitely Recommend and would happily return. beautiful views of the coast and surroundings, from the living area, quiet, beautiful hiking and cycling environment, warm, pleasant indoor swimming pool for all ages. We had a fantastic week there with children and grandchildren

We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

We absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again. The space was clean, warm and very spacious up and downstairs. The design and decor was on another level. We couldn’t get over the beautiful chandelier. We were greeted with fruits and milk on arrival in the large kitchen. Ahead of our journey we were given clear directions to the property. Access was easy and there were clear instructions for the sauna, pool etc. We used the sauna daily. It’s was huge and looked brand new. We were be able to watch the kids swim in the pool from the sauna. The kids absolutely loved the pool and took every opportunity day and night to swim. It really was a bonus to have our own pool. 5 of us stayed for a week and there was enough space in the fridge and freezer for all of our food. I have already recommended the space to my friends.

We had a wonderful (albeit brief) stay at Jane’s beautiful home! The space was spotless, stylish, and so comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool was a real highlight, and we’re already looking forward to coming back and making the most of it next time. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned due to personal reasons, but Jane was incredibly understanding and kind about our situation. She was a fantastic host throughout—thoughtful, responsive, and welcoming. A special thank you for the delicious-looking marmalade waiting for us on arrival! We can’t wait to enjoy it at breakfast. Highly recommend Jane’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful and lovely escape. We hope to return soon!

I stayed for my 30th birthday celebrations and had the best time ever. This place was perfect! the decor, the location, the surroundings and most importantly Karen and her husband was so friendly and lovely and ensured I had a special birthday. I’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before and I’ve never had a host as lovely as Karen was, the perfect host we could have wish for. The swimming pool was amazing and me and my family had a wonderful time enjoying it in the sun with a BBQ. The cottage was spotless and a welcome hamper was provided and every little detail was perfect. The garden area was beautiful through out the day and so peaceful and relaxing. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was truly perfect and I will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone I know! Thank you again for making it such a special birthday x

We had a wonderful stay at Lorna's house. The views were fantastic, and the home was well-equipped, making it perfect for our family getaway. The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch! Lorna was a very helpful and responsive host, and the location between Herne Bay and Whitstable was ideal. We'd happily return and highly recommend this lovely seaside retreat.

We had a great stay at Harts Cottage. When we saw the weather wasn’t going to be great, I asked Belinda if the property had any games, when we arrived we were greeted with a lovely selection. Very comfy beds. Beautiful bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen (everything needed to make a Sunday roast). Secure parking. Lovely garden. Couldn’t recommend more.

Last minute booking over the Easter weekend. Really glad we chose Amber lights. Very easy to find with good on-site parking. House was absolutely spotless and the host even left us a couple of Easter eggs! Lovely area. We walked down the beach to Dungeness and then took a steam train to Hythe and back to Romney Sands station which is a few hundred metres from the house. We also explored Folkestone, which surprised us with a great selection of shops and food down at the old Harbour station. Local Greek restaurant is great as is the Chippy. Sainsbury’s is a 10 minute drive away. This is a lovely comfortable property. It even has a log burner which makes it super cozy after a long day out in the British weather.

What a stunning house! We had a birthday weekend with family and kids, the house was the perfect size, beautiful decoration, and attention to detail, really responsive to all questions, beautiful location with a stunning beach. Being able to walk straight onto the beach was bliss and we were lucky to have wonderful weather plus a dramatic storm! It’s actually more beautiful than the photos! What a place, we will definitely be back!

The top floor bedroom in this property is just the most wonderful space it has ever been my pleasure to wake up in!! The house is so light and sunny with a glorious view of all the greeenery that is the beginning of the dunes. The property was very well equipped and the beds and bedding were so comfy, so much so that the friend I went with has ordered one of the beds as she said she hadn’t slept so well in years! Camber Sands and the dunes are absolutely stunning, such an amazing facility right on the doorstep. All in all, a really great stay and I will definitely be back - thanks Fran .

Wild Cottage is a little gem. Hayley's attention to detail is extraordinary. It felt like she really cared about us and wanted us to have the best holiday we could. Wild Cottage wrapped itself around us and made us feel comfortable, relaxed, safe and special. All of this was so important to all of us but especially my granddaughter who gets anxious in new environments, she felt at home straight away and loved that she had been thought about by Hayley. In fact both of our granddaughters loved that. We , the adults, also loved those very personal touches that made our celebrations for our Ruby wedding anniversary, my 60th birthday, our son and daughter in laws 10th wedding anniversary , extra special. We would recommend Wild Cottage to anyone. Hayley has created a real haven.

I highly recommend this lovely property. It is very convenient for pubs and restaurants and all that Rye has to offer. We made use of the little area with table and chairs at the back of the property to drink a cup of tea and there is a lovely place just next door which did an excellent afternoon tea. I loved the bath in the bedroom- such a treat!

We had a fab time perfect location to explore the beach with kids and be back home again in no time to warm up. Plenty of space inside even with four kids playing.

This is without doubt the most stunning place I have ever stayed in through Airbnb. The cottage has recently been renovated to an extremely high standard and every detail is perfect and has been carefully thought through. It is comfortable and luxurious but still homely and stocked with everything you need for a home from home stay! It is also in a fantastic location - only a 2 minute walk to the seafront and the town centre. I could not recommend it more highly. Belinda was also extremely helpful and welcoming and very responsive to messages. 11/10! We will definitely be back! thank you Belinda and Thierry.

I have stayed in AirBnBs all around the world, and this one was my favorite! Perfect location, very nice interior and bedding, adorable patio, and personable hosts. Highly recommended!

Angela’s place was absolutely incredible. One of the most beautiful Airbnb I had stayed at. Perfectly located on Rye’s Main Street, near shops and restaurants. The inside is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless. The claw foot tub in each room was the perfect way to relax after a day of walking around Rye. Angela was extremely accommodating, letting us check in early at no cost. I already dream of coming back!

The house is stunning, the layout is perfect and was spotless. Level 1 kitchen/lounge/outdoor balcony. Level 2 bedrooms. Level 3 attic room with chairs, binoculars and great views (each level has great views!) We were a group of 4 although if 8, the size and layout would have allowed us to have our own space. The bedrooms, 2 with en-suites, a large family bathroom and all with sea views. Watching sunrise over the ocean and the dawn morning bird chorus transported me to tropical holiday vibes. The house overlooks gardens, bluebells and iris were in bloom. Down the house steps and after about 50 metres you are on the sea wall/beach. Jo and Andrew have been great hosts, great communication prior to our trip and provided a welcome pack of really useful local information, thank you for the snacks and wine. Relaxing on the balcony, watching the ocean and world go by was the perfect way to start the trip. If I ever return to Hastings, first stop would be to try and rebook this AirBNB

We had a lovely stay.. the house is exactly as pictured with no nasty surprises. Amazing sea view from the master bedroom, with double doors leading onto the balcony. Stef was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay!

A very comfortable, homely cottage set in a beautiful, peaceful location. Peter and Marilyn were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed walking from the cottage without having to use the car, but there was easy access by road to many attractions. During our short stay we visited Rye, Rye Harbour, Bateman's House and Garden and Eastbourne. We highly recommend this cottage.

Great place. Cinema room was a huge bonus. Movies and PlayStation. Lots of space for everyone. It’s around zone F. You can walk over the sand dune at the end of the road to get to the beach. We had a dog. The dog beaches are about a 0.7 mile walk in either direction. Went to both sections. Great nice wide sandy beach.
