Since day one Joe and Madeline were very helpful. Very easy to find when driving there and instructions for checking in etc were very clear. Surroundings was beautiful felt at peace and would definitely visit again. Each cabin had their own kitchen area with everything you need. Shower and toilet facilities were close as well. We will definitely be returning

Kilkenny. Unique country residence.

JudithRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Mags made her place so welcoming and comfortable. There was plenty of room and the kitchen was so well equipped if you wanted to cook. She was there to greet you and to give information about many of the attractions in Kilkenny and recommendations on where to eat. It was in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood just a short distance from town and we wouldn't hesitate to return if visiting the area again. Judy & Paul, Australia.

Grove View log house

AntonyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We stayed at Donals place for 2 nights at a reasonable cost. We loved the tranquility of the place. very spacious, very clean and all the essentials provided. parking just outside the door, very safe. The local information regarding places of interest, places to eat / drink etc were first class. We met with Donal after arriving and found him to be a friendly and charming man, nothing was too much trouble for him. The property is remote, however with a car / bike the nearest village is only a few miles away (L1035). We visited Carrick-on-Suir (6 miles, N24) on Donals recommendation, a large town with all amenities available. Waterford is a car ride away. Overall, a brilliant place. Thank you Donal.

400 Year Old, Portnascully Mill

SelenaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
A Truly Memorable Stay in a Historic Mill! Our stay at this beautifully restored old mill was absolutely unforgettable! The space itself is unique and full of character — you can feel the history in every detail, yet it has been thoughtfully updated with all the modern comforts we could have hoped for. It was incredibly spacious, easily accommodating our whole family with room to relax, gather, and enjoy. The interior was not only well-equipped (everything we needed was there!) but also tastefully decorated to highlight the mill's historic charm while maintaining a sense of warmth and coziness. The surroundings were peaceful and scenic, adding to the overall charm of the place. Above all, the host was wonderfully kind and welcoming — making sure we felt at home and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. You can tell they truly care about their guests’ experience. We would absolutely stay here again a

We loved Helen’s place. It’s located in her farm/cafe complex, and it’s super cute and special. We felt welcomed, and Helen was very friendly and accommodating from beginning to end. Staying here was a highlight of our trip to Ireland!

The place was absolutely stunning! We felt like a king and queen staying here and really enjoyed the decor and ambiance after a long day of exploring. The local monastery ruins are beautiful and the pub down the street had some friendly locals and delicious pizza. Thank you for hosting us!

Great spot with very friendly hosts! Lots of animals around, our kids especially loved Rocco and Johnny the dogs. Wish we had a little more time here. Just maybe 20 minute drive down into Waterford with lots of restaurants and things to do. Thanks for the pleasant stay!

The Writer's Cottage, secluded woodland setting

KatyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This spot is HEAVEN. Absolutely worth the drive (I’m an American so still getting used to left side driving). It was peaceful, serene, and well equipped for a weekend stay. The bed was amazing and comfortable, the bath and cupboard kitchen were honestly better than most of the places we’ve stayed. The perimeter walk is nonstop GAWKING and it was such a privilege to end our 2 week Ireland round trip away from the noise. Couldn’t recommend enough.
