A nice place to relax from everyday life. Very quiet and peaceful place by the lake. We really enjoyed the nature and wildlife. The house has everything you need, is clean and has a nice interior. I would like to come back in the future

Little retreat reminds us of the importance of a place like this. To reappreciate what the wild has to share, not only the physical gifts, but the power to recharge the mind and ground the soul. Lovely spot to be integtated once again with the environment from which we all came!

My family spent a long weekend at Howard's cottage and had a delightful experience. The space was simultaneously roomy and cozy. We loved the fenced in porch and were able to cook several meals using the fully equipped kitchen, as well as the outdoor grill. Tons of board games, too!

I wasn’t there myself but my nephew said it was one of the nicest and cleanest places we have put him up in. Thank you so much we will keep your place in mind when in area.

Area was beautiful and secluded. Would recommend getting groceries on the way because the stores are far. It’s a bit of a walk to the lake and there’s no parking there. The property is very nice and the hot tub and lake are amazing! Some of the cleaning could’ve been better but the host was responsive and made sure to pass that on to the cleaning crew. The host was helpful and responsive. Make sure to drink from the water cooler because the tap water smells like gas.

Our family with a baby and 5 year old had a great time :) we love gimli, and staying somewhere so close to all the action was great for us. We were able to walk everywhere, see the lake, this would be the perfect place in the summer being so close to the water. The absolute one and ONLY thing I would suggest is maybe adding in a foldable crib/ playpen for babies, because this place is the perfect place for families with kids. We had to bring our baby’s bassinet with us which wasn’t 100% ideal. Other than that Nancy and her husband were so nice, the house is so cozy and clean and they literally had everything you’d need! Even condiments in the fridge and spices for food! I loved the cozy throw blankets as well, so perfect for a movie night in :) would definitely stay here again and for long periods of time. I had a lovely stay at this cottage with my two children and pets while being evacuated from the northern fires. We were so comfortable here, there was enough room for us to all have our own space, and you couldn't ask for a more secure and spacious fenced yard for your pets. The neighborhood was peaceful and super walkable. If we are ever in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here!

A very clean, spacious apartment with a fantastic view! Just what we needed

This place was beyond our expectations! We were lucky to have a lake side balcony and the view as we walked in was truly breathtaking. The modern white decor complete with wispy curtains created a stunning foreground to the sparkling blue lake that met our gaze through every window. We felt completely spoiled and looked forward to returning to our haven after every walk or meal. The location was phenomenal - right on the lake but also very close to amenities and restaurants that provided amazing food. We had everything we needed, including a stocked kitchen and Keurig coffee. Chris responded well to our messages, including an initial problem with the code. The problem was quickly resolved. We will definitely be back!!!

This was our third AirBNB in this area and we agreed it was our favourite. Very well laid out for 2 couples. Great kitchen and dining space for cooking meals together. Beautiful bathroom. The hot tub and fuse ball table were lovely perks! So was the gas fireplace. We could keep the space at a comfortable temperatures Although there was not a lakeside view from inside, a quick 30 second walk around the house got us there. Beds were comfortable - one room had a softer mattress than the other which accommodated different preferences. Instructions were very clear with lots of local recommendations. We would come back!

The kitchen is well equipped with top end appliances and cookware, with a nice selection of dishes and kitchen extras. Big dining table seats a crowd. It’s a well laid out space so you can spread out in different areas; the little den is great for quiet time or games. The bar activity downstairs can be heard if there is no tv or other sounds going on in your space - it wasn’t too bad though and they closed at 11 (Winter hours). Bring your own shampoo and hair dryer - I forgot. There is no hand rail on the 20+ stairs up to the unit which was a little unnerving. The beds were comfy and the whole place is very nicely decorated. It suited 4 ladies in town for a curling bonspeil very well.
