This is a VERY beautiful home and I think the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. The attention to detail is outstanding and every where you look, there is another gorgeous aspect to admire. It felt so homely and also a privilege to be able to stay. Secure off road parking, hot tub set in a fabulous patio garden, BBQ, TV's in most rooms, lovely relaxing lounge, great sized dining table, stunning kitchen, very comfortable beds, lovely linen, towels and hot tub towels,great bathroom. This is a gem and we are already planning to return. It's a fantastic part of Devon, very picturesque and the village couldn't be more welcoming. The hosts were brilliant as you might expect from such a positive review. Worth every penny.

The Old Stables felt like home, and is in a lovely setting. The views from the garden are lovely and you can hear the river and birds. Our stay gave us exactly what we needed, and Ian was a large part of that as he helped us feel relaxed and totally at home. It is a beautiful area, with plenty of lovely river walks and places to visit. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden, reading, and playing croquet. Ian is an excellent host and a lovely person. As someone else said one of the best places we have stayed in. And, yes, the bed was very comfortable. When the temperature rose Ian provided us with a very effective fan.
