Had a great stay, received a warm welcome with Wine, Crackers and Cheese. Was given clear instructions on how to get to the cottage, how to enter, all the local amenities and how to use all the facilities. Was the perfect cottage for our trip, 5 Adults and a fox terrier. Great location, a shortish walk to dunstanburgh castle, Caster and close to Alnwick by car. The cottage had everything we needed for the weekend and would highly recommend.

Lovely cottage retreat with beautiful private garden. Great space to base yourself from to explore the North East coast. Rural farmstead within easy driving distance of Beadnell, Craster, Bamburgh and Seahouses.

My family had the most comfortable, relaxing, and wonderful stay at Embleton. The surroundings are peaceful and absolutely beautiful, making it feel very much like a home away from home. Helen, the host, provided very clear and helpful instructions, which made our stay seamless and stress-free. The house itself is serene, offering a perfect retreat from the bustle of daily life. While it requires a short 15-minute drive to reach a bigger town eg Seahouses or Alnwick for supermarket supplies, we didn’t find this to be an issue at all. The tranquility and charm of the location more than made up for it. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Highly recommend.
