Cabin holiday rentals in Durango

Beautiful view of the lake. It was very peaceful. Place had lots of cups and utensils and cooking pans. Also had lots of cooking oil and butter and spices for cooking. Even had a grill to use. Hot tub was perfect. Place had no ac but like the instructions mentioned to leave a window open and it keeps the house cool. Upstairs had a fan. Also had washer and dryer which came in handy. A dog door, dog bowls and dog bed. It was dog loving cabin. Can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

This was a great place to stay for our work retreat! The surroundings were great and we all loved that it was out and away from the city. The hosts were on the ball with communicating - very proactive - and if it was not Chandra communicating Scott would reply really fast. The two living areas made it nice to have a spot to plan games and leave space for those who wanted to chill. The surroundings were so relaxing that we spent most of our time on that deck and lower patio having our work conversations and recording educational videos. Deer were around every day and two of the chubbiest chipmunks I have ever seen were always around checking us out. I finally gave one a bit of a chip the morning of check-out and it was really trying to hang out afer that! Sure glad no one fed it earlier, we would have had a pet with us the whole time with that friendly critter.

My husband, me and my three children truly enjoyed our stay! We tried to go to Dolores twice a year and more excited to know that we found a new place for the family to stay everything about. It is absolutely perfect we just wish we could bring our dogs 🖤 It was easy access the river was beautiful, cozy outdoor firepit ! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking! The house was well stocked of anything that we needed that we may have forgotten and the host was extremely easy to contact when needed. We notice some flyers for the ranch next-door and was able to enjoy an afternoon of horseback riding one minute from the home!! The next day, we went ouray our favorite place ! Next time we’ll be sure to make a stop and Telluride again! Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to our family we are so grateful!!! 🖤 the Anderson family !!!

Our family of four truly enjoyed our time at Joe’s place. We could not have asked for a better place to come back to after a day of skiing. The house had absolutely everything that we needed, was clean, and very comfortable.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Bear's Den. It is everything we usually look for in a place to stay. Beautiful location. CLEAN. Well maintained. And allowed our pups to stay with us. It was a little small for the 6 of us....but overall worked out well. The back deck was my favorite and we enjoyed eating and relaxing on the deck. The nearby lake was really fun to take a rental boat and explore. We also visited Mesa Verde and took the grandchildren on the Durango Silverton train. We would highly recommend Bear's Den. This property was exactly what we were hoping for and more. Beautiful, remote and quiet log cabin located high on hill with great views. It is decorated with wonderful Native American art throughout…such a peaceful feeling. Hot tub, several large decks and BBQ area were amazing. Kitchen area was well equipped and made dining in enjoyable. Plenty of room inside and outside for privacy with group of 6 adults. Deer all over property and night sky was awesome..no light pollution. Lori and Rob are first class hosts and responded immediately with any questions. Very flexible and caring people. Place is as shown. Zipline was fun didnt realize was on property. Distance from anytime 45min plus. Peaceful and very comfortable

We stayed at cabin #4 Twilight. The cabin was so great. Super cute and cozy. It snowed 2 ft when we were there and it was a winter wonderland. The biggest complaint: The furnace was loud at night.

This is a very rustic gem away from everything, I absolutely loved how peaceful and quiet it was and I’ve never seen so many stars at night in my life! Elena was incredibly friendly and the hospitality was phenomenal!

The cabin was great! Well kept, and well stocked. My kids had the best time taking in the view of the lake and the mountains from the back porch. We loved it!!

An absolutely amazing place. I loved the privacy. I was able to take my SUP to the lake and had it mostly to myself. Place was spotless and many bedrooms which were not pictured. Nice and close to Meas Verda. The view of the lake from upstairs was breathtaking. I would love to come again.

The host was very nice and welcoming, answered any questions I had, provided suggestions and allowed an early check-in. I stayed on a holiday weekend & only booked the week before. There was hardly any availability in the area, I’m not sure if the pricing was adjusted due to the holiday but $150 per night is steep in my opinion for just a room with only beds. It was the cheapest option we could find & we did love our stay, just not sure it’d be worth that much given different circumstances. The communal bathrooms were kept clean, only other down side would be how close we were to our neighbors. I would definitely suggest a riverside site so you’re not as surrounded & the river is quite beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay, the cabin is located in a really beautiful setting. Even though it was adjacent to other cabins, it felt private enough because of the way it sits on the property. The cabin is quite small but we had everything we needed. The bed is firm but we liked it. The kitchen was clean and had all necessary items, and Rene left a bowl, a dog towel, and a treat for our pup which was very sweet. We would stay again! Excellent communication from our host!

We had a great time! If anything, the pictures (which were great) did not do it justice. It was secluded but with the ability to easily go into town when needed.

The cabin is really nice and a lot bigger than expected. Location was perfect and amazing backyard. Little light pollution made for great star gazing.

This was our second time staying at Ethan’s place and we loved it as much this time as the first! We can’t wait until we can come back again. It’s very cozy, just feels like our home away from home. Thanks again!

This cabin was the perfect winter getaway! Located just a short drive from Purgatory Ski Resort, it’s nestled in a peaceful, secluded setting surrounded by beautiful trees and plenty of snow. The cozy cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the serene atmosphere made it feel like a true escape. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to the slopes!

We had great time staying at this Durango home. We golfed, swam, hiked and rode bikes in Durango area. It’s a beautiful and well stocked place.

We have stayed at a few places by rivers in Colorado, and this is our favorite by far. Jarka and Michael are warm welcoming hosts, greeting us when we arrived . The place is incredibly peaceful, the river just a few steps from the house. A fire pit for fires in the morning by the river was a favorite of ours, and well as cold plunges into the river where they have sculpted a soaking pool. We all slept incredibly well, ate out meals on the deck listening to the river. They have games, puzzles, books, and spaces to relax all over the property. This is a very special place, and I’m grateful we had the opportunity to spend a week here!

My partner and I had a lovely time at Hoot and Holler! The location is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful with lots of room. It was such a cool house with lots of character and Tern was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend staying here and taking in the beautiful property!

Cabin was simply amazing! Longer drive off the main road, but nothing to be scared of. The cabin was great and just as described. The proximity to Lemon Reservoir and the Florida River was perfect. Easy 30 minute drive to downtown Durango. Beds, kitchen, bathrooms, outside patio, et all were great and just as described in the listing. Would definitely recommend and wishing we were already back there. Thank you Janet and Victoria!!
