Outdoor safety
If your guests are heading out to explore New Zealand’s great outdoors, preparation is key. Plan My Walk, by NZ Mountain Safety Council, is a free app and website with details on over 1,850 tracks, including maps, weather updates, gear lists, alerts, and reviews. The NZ Hiking + Tramping Video Series covers 21 popular hikes with tips on weather, gear, walking times, and hazards to help guests plan their adventure.
