Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . Out of 10 I would give her 11

Great place and very accommodating

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

From the second I booked the beautiful villa in Sunbilla with Carmen and José, they took great care of advising with best activities, supporting with arrival and providing a wonderful clean home with all necessary amenities. We especially loved the restaurant elotxuri and the lake in natural reserve. We would love to come back when the pool is open next time. Thank you Carmen and José!

The house is in perfect condition, well signposted when entering the village, very clean and with everything you need to enjoy a few days with family and/or friends. Amaia was always attentive and provided us with everything we needed. One drawback was that the Nespresso coffee machine didn't work, but since we had another filter coffee machine, we were able to manage. All that's missing is a pool for the summer, and it would be perfect! 😊 We will definitely repeat it. Thank you very much to the hosts for everything! Regards

Fantastic hospitality the people of Catalan are very friendly and the property was amazing but you definitely need a car to stay here as there nothing around no shops

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at this house. It is spacious and very well equipped, nicely furnished and it is pleasant to stay there. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it, the covered terrace allows you to eat outside even when it rains. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

Brilliant place to stay, 40 mins from Bilbao, nice and quiet countryside location, the next village has a couple of bars and restaurants and a really nice bakery.. Alberto’s house was beautiful, I will definitely be back in the future… even message me the best ways to get to Bilbao stadium and home on European cup final night..

Fermin and Amelia are awesome. We are so thankful for their hospitality and their lovely home. Etxalar is amazing. One of the most beautfiful towns we have visited. Fermín y Amelia son increíbles. the house is great for groups (up to 30, I think they come in without problems) has a spacious dining room, lots of crockery, BBQ area and spacious garden! the only one but the bathrooms are outside the bedrooms.

The accommodation and its hosts, exceptional. The house offers many possibilities to enjoy the outdoors, games and exceptional habitability and comfort. It is worth spending enough time to enjoy both the house and the surroundings. The hosts are attentive at all times, very kind and knowledgeable about the area for visits, excursions... Spacious clean home, with a large outdoor area. Fully equipped home. Peace, quiet. A home located a short distance from the beaches. Very good communication with the host. Recommended

A wonderful accommodation in a beautiful environment. Really enjoyed the tranquility, the cottage and the surroundings. Upon arrival, the fireplace was already on and there was a delicious homemade cake ready and fresh eggs. Communicated well with the host using Google Translate.

From the first moment, Adela's service was very good, very communicative and she answered my questions. The accommodation is great, everything is very clean, tidy, it has everything you need (and more!) to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The fireplace is a plus at this time of year (December). The common area is spacious, two open kitchen and living room rooms, very comfortable when it comes to being in the accommodation. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds, everything was clean and in order. The bathroom is somewhat narrow (it depends on each person's taste), although the shower is wonderful. The window didn't open and it was the only drawback I found. Everything else was magnificent. The village is quiet, in a beautiful valley, with possibilities for sports around and tourism (Bilbao 30min, Vitoria 40min...) I would recommend this accommodation because I was very satisfied and because I would repeat if the opportunity arose. Thanks Adela, especially for accepting Baio and Lea ❤️

The accommodation is a beautiful old restored house. The hosts are very nice and attentive, with very good recommendations about the area and take care of everything with lots of detail, flowers in vases, numerous guides about the area... to return 100x100! Many thanks Cristina and Pablo

Beautiful place to be in nature, the nearby village has sea and several places of interest. The house is very complete, to live it for months, is like being at home.
