Very nice private suite in lake house on col de sac at private lake in our home. If you like peace and quiet in nature setting this is it. Property is on a hillside, so guests are required to use steps and slanted walkways. We live above the suite and would like to share this beautiful place with you. Close proximity 15 minutes or less to: Pine Knob Music Theatre, Pine Knob Ski Resort, Chrysler Head Quarter (FCA), Great Lakes Crossings Mall, BROSE, BorgWarner etc.

Cheryl is a lovely host, and her house is quite comfortable. Only thing you should be aware of is her dog. He doesn’t bite, he’s friendly, he’s just a bit vocal before he gets to know you. He does like getting pets. Other than that, I myself didn’t use many of the amenities during my stay as I was out for most of the day. The neighborhood itself does also have a walking path which I used a fair amount to get some fresh air after coming back.

This room was perfect for what we needed! My daughter and I attended a concert at Pine Knob but live almost 3 hours away so driving home was not an option that late at night. The space is exactly as described. Simple but everything we needed. Cindy was very responsive and flexible. The descriptive check-in pictures and explanations were very helpful, especially since it was dark outside when we arrived. The only thing I'd like to add is that GPS wanted me to pull into the "second left" driveway which is not correct.. so just look carefully as you arrive (not at any fault of the host). Thank you for having this as an option for people who need a quick, simple and easy rental! Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect stay for me! Suzanne is very nice and keeps the house very clean. She had suggestions of where to get food, and let me keep my bike in her garage. The Air Line Trail is just a block or two away and there are forest preserves and state parks within a few miles. It’s about a 35 minute drive to downtown Detroit. Sushi Den restaurant nearby is excellent!
