Stunning location and a beautiful little home away from home. Nel and Lorne were both welcoming and helpful, even offering us lifts into town for events. The kitchen supplies shared made our life much easier and the workspace was perfect. The view from the lounge room and bedroom window was so beautiful and we enjoyed spending time just being in the unit watching out to the water. The bath tub was beautiful and the heating worked well, the bed and linens were great and the kitchen was well equipped. We loved Taroona and hope to stay with Nel again when we return to our beloved Tassie 💖

An absolutely gorgeous penthouse apartment - very modern, stunning river views, outdoor bath, bathrobes, lots of treats on arrival, very comfortable beds, safe and secure and so close to everything in Hobart, especially Salamanca and the restaurant strip. Fantastic home with all the comforts, very warm and cosy, beautiful beds, great kitchen with more than we could use, great comfortable lounge and a huge 85inch TV for the relaxing time, great easy parking to your door & in a very safe area, our host was so helpful & responded to any of our enquiries very promptly, super friendly and a real larrikin, this was our second stay at Charles and we would love to come back again. Highly recommended

Jacqui was such a warm and thoughtful host! She was always responsive and welcoming, and we truly appreciated the handmade lavender bead warmer pillows she gifted us — such a heartfelt gesture that added a personal and comforting touch to our stay, especially in the chilly weather. The home is tucked just behind the main road, offering a nice sense of privacy while still being only a short drive to the city and Mt Wellington. Parking was easy and convenient right by the roadside. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for simple cooking, and the living room, kitchen, and bathroom were cosy and well-heated. The only small suggestion we have is that it would be lovely to have a heater or an electric blanket in the bedroom for added comfort during colder nights. One unexpected delight was the visit from three adorable pademelons in the backyard — such a treat to see them up close! All in all, it was an enjoyable and peaceful stay. Thank you, Jacqui!

A wonderful clean and homely place to stay with a beautiful view of Kingston Beach.

We had an amazing stay, comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a short holiday, local store and cafe only a short walk away if you forget anything. Beach views too, and even in Winter, gorgeous.

After a long stretch without a break, Brierlie’s apartment overlooking the harbour and historic buildings was the perfect place to land. Everything we needed was within walking distance, great restaurants, the Mona ferry, Salamanca Markets, and more. The apartment was spot-on for two couples. Thanks, Brierlie, our Kiwi friends and we had a fantastic stay.

Deborah is an amazing host; communication was swift, helpful and kind! The house is clean, modern, functional and fun. The views are stunning and the beach access was fun for both younger guests and the adults, oh and our four legged friend. To be honest, I've never stayed in an airbnb that was so well equipped as this one. There were enough pots and pans, cutlery, utensils, cleaning products, toastie machine, condiments, cereals... the list was endless. It was amazing!! We had a wonderful stay. This was the second time we stayed here, and it was just as great as we remembered. We love the peaceful environment and wonderful views over the water. The Airbnb is very well maintained and thoughtfully put together, with comfy finishes and lovely artwork which fits in with the natural environment.

What a perfect location for anyone wanting to be totally immersed in nature, seclusion, privacy and very special sunrises over the water. The house had everything you'd need and especially cosy and comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this lovely home.

Beautiful house in a gorgeous location, if you’re an early riser and love watching sunrises, this is the perfect spot for you. The beach is very close by, and there are some excellent restaurants in the vicinity. I sent a few queries to the hosts during my stay, and they replied in record time, which was really appreciated. The house is located on a very steep hill on a corner block, which means nearly every car that goes past is flooring it right past your bedroom window, so if you’re a light sleeper, make sure you bring earplugs or a white noise machine to block out the excessive car noise.
