From start to finish our experience with Ann Marie and stay at Ataraxia Cottage was fantastic! Ann Marie was incredibly communicative and responsive from the start, providing (extremely helpful!) guidance on getting on the car ferry in St Thomas and where to meet her to get to the cottage. The cottage itself was a dream - literally, we slept like logs on a wonderful mattress every night after busy days hiking and on the beach. The cottage provided the perfect haven for our stay - the kitchen is equipped well for small meals, beach chairs and towels provided, and we barely needed the AC - the ceiling fans were enough! We would and will absolutely return to Ataraxia and Coral Bay - slightly off the beaten track and still so easy to reach all parts of St John. We loved our stay at Tara’s! It was private and just what we were looking for on our first trip to St. John. The driveway is a doozy, just as it’s described - you’ll definitely need 4 wheel drive. Overall we had a great time and Tara’s place was perfect for us!

This place is a gem! So peaceful and private. The views are spectacular, if you want a more quiet and relaxed area this is it. Plenty of beaches nearby under 10 min and great food options about 18 min away. We really enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better host and home ☺️

Our vacation getaway to Dove Cottage was perfection. The home/cottage is beautiful, the views all around the property are spectacular and the peacefulness and privacy are unmatched. The cottage was super clean and the kitchen was fully equipped, modern and gorgeous. Lots of outdoor living space to enjoy. We’d go back in a heartbeat! Jared was a very responsive and helpful host. Highly recommend Dove Cottage and St John , in general.
