Kid-friendly holiday rentals in East Fremantle

We stayed here with our kids and they absolutely loved it! The granny flat was a big hit, and they had so much fun feeding the cats. It’s a beautiful home, full of character, and the space is so cleverly used.

He was always responsive and communicated well with each part of our stay . We had a truly wonderful stay at this Fremantle gem! The house is absolutely beautiful, full of character and thoughtful touches that instantly made us feel at home. It's clear that this isn't just a rental property; it feels like a much-loved home that the host also enjoys (probably!). The furniture is comfortable and stylish, definitely not the mass-produced, flat-pack variety you sometimes find. You can tell that care and attention have been paid to every detail, from the lovely artwork on the walls to the well-equipped kitchen. We have stayed at places that literally had only 4 plates, 4 forks, etc, which were all the cheapest items from IKEA. The minor drawback is we were international visitors with no car. It is a bit far from the train station and a bit off the bus routes, but still accessible. However, there is a nearby grocery store we walked to several times. Highly recommended and we will stay there again if/when we return.

It's everything I was looking for for a good stay and to get to know Fremantle. I wanted to live like the locals and Bec's place was exacly that. Walking distance to grocers, safe place to have my morning run, and it's walkable to the beach with my kids. I asked for blender and she sent me one. Bec was a great host.

I spent a week at Michael's place, both solo for work purposes, then with my family for a long weekend. Michael's place was a wonderful home away from home. Michael was a responsive and friendly host, and was quick to come to the property when I thought there was an issue with the hot water system (there wasnt - it just takes a bit of time to warm up!). I wouldnt hesitate to stay at Michael's place again. We are always looking for great places in Fremantle to stay as we visit often from our home in WA's south west. I highly recommend Michael's place.

Absolutely loved our stay at Paton House. Beautifully designed house with a wonderful cosy vibe. The location is perfect. Chanel was an outstanding host and was always so responsive. We are already planning for our next weekend getaway to Freo just so we can be back in Paton House.

Janet's NEST is located on a peaceful cul-de-sac within easy walking distance to south terrace/ south Beach and the city/Port of Freo. The place is quiet and well appointed - including fans AND RC air con and very comfy beds - but importantly Janet lives downstairs and is a very responsive host - even rescuing us when we locked ourselves out. the off street parking was a big bonus. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Freo.

I had a great stay because it met all my expectations. I wanted somewhere in an easy to access central and quiet location - with a view, close to amenities like a supermarket and that was easy to access with free parking and a well equipped kitchenette. This third floor apartment ticked all the boxes. It had lift and stair access and was clean and had a comfortable bed and lounge. I just wanted to relax and be able to cook my own meals. The little extras provided by Carmela and Martin, like salt, pepper, tea, sugar, coffee, milk, cooking oil and some herbs and spices was a great bonus. As I'm planning another trip to Fremantle, I'll definitely be looking to see if this apartment is available again.

Maria's place was a delight. It is a beautiful lofted space with exquisite plants and furnishings, set in the center of Freo. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience.

The place just feels like home, fully equipped kitchen and really what as described on the descriptions! The view of the harbour/port from the unit... just lovely! Fernanda was a fantastic host! Our stay at Lynn’s place was great. She and Les are friendly, flexible and very helpful. Their studio flat is quiet, comfortable with a lovely courtyard area to look on and sit for breakfast, coffee or a drink. Everything is as described in their listing. It was easy walking distance to everything - sights, Freo markets, beaches, restaurants and cafes. It was only 10 minutes walk to the train station to head into Perth city. Can definitely recommend to stay here.

Sarah’s studio flat was clean, comfortable, had good WiFi, good transport links, parking and quiet. She provided soap, toilet paper and washing up liquid. The view from the apartment was stunning. Thank you Sarah for a wonderful stay.

A wonderful place to stay. Very cute, nicely furnished, clean, comfortable and walkable to the train. We enjoyed our stay and plan on booking this unit again next year when we visit Perth. The host were amazing.

This was our second time staying at this place. Despite the construction next door and the mild noise from the club opposite on the weekends, the location of this Airbnb was unbeatable. With only a 3-5 min walk to the beach, corner store, fish and chips, and gelato, it was just a great holiday for the whole family. Kitchen is well equipped and stocked and there were beach toys for the kids as well. Melissa was even kind enough to offer a cot and high chair, which we didn't need, for our kids before we had arrived. Thanks for the hospitality!

We stayed at Jen’s place twice during our time in WA. The location is fantastic- very walkable and close to some delicious bars, restaurants & great food at the Fremantle markets. Jen’s apartment is lovely. The building itself is older but the apartment feels newly renovated, very clean & had everything we needed for a very great stay. Jen was an excellent host- great communicator & went above & beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. We loved our time there and would gladly stay again!

it's hard to find a place that is both stylish and accepts families , but I was so lucky to have found Shey's listing. our stay was luxurious and well stocked with supplies. she was also very responsive and caring. instructions were all clear and accurate. appliances easy to use. highly recommend her listing - it'll be the first listing I'll book on my next visit to Perth :)

This is hands down the BEST AIRBNB I have ever stayed in. The host provides so much more than any other host. it doesn't feel like an empty house, it's decorated and comes with heaps of complimentary freebies; bread, milk, cereal, lollies, lemons, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, etc. The cutlery was quality. The price is super affordable. I actually felt respected for once, it reminded me of what hospitality used to be like. I will definitely be staying here again!

Plenty of room for our family of four to stay comfortably. The space is clean and quiet with greenery outside to relax in. Location is also great being near Fremantle and other necessary amenities. Washing machine can run a bit too loud but that’s about it.
