Self contained part of charming thatched cottage in this attractive South Oxfordshire village, between Didcot (2.5 miles) and Wallingford (3.5 miles). The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

The self-contained studio is on two floors, which is bright, airy and furnished well with a private entrance. You can get fantastic views at the top of the garden and, better still, from the top field. Peaceful and private it is brilliantly located for tranquil walks, or exploring the history of nearby Wallingford or Oxford. Airy and spacious, the cottage is well equipped and modern. The Lodge at River Acres in Moulsford is just the place to reset, relax and forget all your worries. Set in beautiful grounds, with the River Thames at the end of the lawn. Sit and relax by the river with a glass of wine, watching the boats go by and looking out for wildlife. Free fresh eggs from our own chickens are provided for your breakfast. We have our own tennis court for you to play on at no extra cost, and we loan raquets and balls.
