Our holiday home is located in Durdle Door Holiday Park near the famous stone arch of Durdle Door, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's in a great position, being one of the closest homes to the beach access path, and boasts sea glimpses from the sun deck and living room window. Featuring all mod-cons it is a really comfortable home-from-home. The park is quiet and well-maintained with a shop, restaurant, bar and play-park. Lulworth Cove, along with its pubs and restaurants are a short walk away.

Gorgeous shepherd's hut in Dorset's water meadows

This is a gorgeous new shepherds hut adjoining a listed thatched cottage with a stream running through the garden and alongside the hut. The hut is quiet and peaceful being at the end of a small lane petering out into protected water meadows. The only noise to disturb you is bird song. Look out of your window and you see coots and ducks in the stream. Step straight into the water meadows and see herons and kingfishers. In a word, idyllic.

Sika Lodge is clean, comfortable & just what we needed for our 3 night stay! Situated next to a beautiful house (very well located for a base to explore Dorset!), the hosts Carl & Claire were so friendly & generous too! They left homemade brownies for our arrival, yum! They both made a real effort to make us feel comfortable & it made our weekend truly enjoyable. The weather was a major bonus! The small fridge was a great addition to the space we had (handy!) & the large modern bathroom was great! A nice rainfall shower - always a plus for us! The fan upstairs was very much appreciated too, when it got a little warm up there! We'd definitely recommend & would love to stay again.

Beautifully restored home in the most extraordinary location - opposite the Church, and with the remains of the ancient Abbey just down the road. Everything in the house is the finest quality - even the hairdryers are GHD! You’ll be very comfortable. Pollyanna was a perfect host. Three characterful pubs in this small, quaint town, and just a 15 minute drive to Dorchester (go to the Curiosity Centre!). Would very happily stay again.

We loved our stay here, it was clean, had a comfortable bed, lovely breakfast hampers and perfectly situated for everything we wanted to do in Dorset. Annabelle was lovely and ensured we had everything we needed, she even hung out our swimwear to make sure it was dry for our next dip! Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dawns. Dawn was friendly and helpful explaining door new lock and would always respond quickly if we had any questions. Really bright pretty bedroom with on suite shower room . Room was very clean and smelt lovely especially due to fresh flowers / aeromatic herbs in a vase ( lovely touch). Tea and coffee making facilities included a selection of teas ,coffees and some hot chocolate including biscuits were also a lovely touch. The accomodation is a 5 min walk into Lulworth with nearby pubs and restaurants and the beautiful cove at the bottom. Highly recommended walk from Lulworth to Durdle door. Scenery got more and more stunning as you went on. If you find climbing hills challenging it is quite a climb but apparently you can take your car to an easier route there. Really lovely break. Thank you Dawn .

We had a wonderful stay in Herring Cottage. The village is beautiful and the local pub is a must, the food, atmosphere and owners are excellent - if you’re staying it is a must and only a couple of minutes walk from the cottage! The cottage has heaps of charm and is very comfortable, also being very clean and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk to the coast path down the lane beside the cottage. There isn’t WiFi or signal as Steve details but the digital detox was very much welcome and added to the cottages charm. Thank you for a fab stay!

A superb place for a tranquil and out-of-the-way break. Private with secure grounds for the dogs, cosy with Log Burner set up ready for lighting. Lovely to be surrounded by nature - and a refreshing change to be without TV / Wifi (although phone/data signal still good for Vodafone/ Three). Very friendly communication with excellent directions. Pub with good food in walking distance. Well positioned to access Jurrasic Coastline of Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. We look forward to returning.

Ann and Trevor are great people to talk to, their home is amazing, spacious and clean. Will definitely stay with them again when going to see family. we were going to family wedding and Ann loaned me her dry robe as it was pouring with rain, thank you both so much. Breakfast was plentiful too, all laid out as good as the Ritz!! Highly recommend a stay here.
