Guesthouse holiday rentals in East Visby

This was a very special trip for my sister and I who don’t get to spend a lot of time together. What a peaceful place and wonderful host! Elizabeth was not only kind and helpful but she went above and beyond in helping us find some our Swedish ancestors! We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch every morning, having tea and breakfast. We loved being greeted by her sweet dogs, June and Lizzie and also enjoyed feeding the lambs, learning about the sheep, and seeing other animals on her farm. The cottage has everything you need and is decorated with such a warm touch. We quickly felt like locals and look forward to coming back soon! Thank you so much, Elisabeth!

Das Haus von Christer ist ideal,um die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Es liegt relativ mittig,aber nah zu einem ruhigen,tollen Strand mit flachem Wasser-super für Kinder. Die Unterkunft ist noch ansprechender als auf den Fotos: es gibt eine neue,helle Sitzecke im oberen Geschoss. Sehr gemütlich! Das Gelände ist weitläufig und komplett abgelegen: Adler, Rehe, Hasen sahen wir direkt von der Sitzecke im Garten aus. Christer war nicht zu Hause,versorgte uns aber mit wertvollen Tipps und war jederzeit erreichbar.

My hopes were high for this trip… Hassan’s communications were helpful, prompt and really easygoing. He’s an excellent host. Then we’re arrived at the home - and somehow our expectations were exceeded. It’s a lovely place to stay - a well looked after characterful property with great space indoors and out. About a twenty minute stroll from the centre of Visby, which is a wonderful place to spend time. Beds super comfortable. Everything worked really well. Highly recommended.

Trevligt område, alla bekvämligheter som behövdes, bra och trevliga värdar! Allt gick oerhört smidigt och det fanns en fin och bra lekplats i närheten. Boenden var toppen för mig och min lilla familj ☺️.

Sofia’s place was just perfect to stay with my toddler and parents! Perfectly equipped and located, provided space for outdoor cooking and meals and even a inflatable pool. Parking lot was also great to have! Sofia and her husband are very pleasant and responsive hosts, we were even allowed to stay hours after check out to meet our plane. Thank so much for the wonderful Medieval week in Visby, and who knows, maybe we meet again!

Wat hebben wij het fijn gehad ...een mooi huisje op een prachtig plekje. Zulke vriendelijke en lieve eigenaren. Deden ontzettend hun best zodat wij s avonds in het donker de weg konden vinden. De volgende dag een warm welkom...en wat hadden ze alles gezellig ingericht. Alles is superschoon...en ze hebben aan alles gedacht. Er ontbreekt ook echt niets...van kruiden tot wc papier. Echt een top week dankzij hen...zelfs lekkere ligstoelen op de veranda. Echt een aanrader.

Erik has been a great host very friendly and accommodating even though we arrived quite late in the evening, he also took the time to show us what kinds of activities were available in the area. The house was clean and perfect for spending a few days exploring the area.

Super mysig stuga med tillgång till en charmig liten uteplats. Själva stugan var ren och fräsch. Dessutom låg den nära till många sevärdheter med bil. Området var lugnt och fridfullt. Caroline var lyhörd och tillmötesgående. Skulle absolut boka stugan igen!

Boendet var superfint, välplanerat, nytt och fräscht. Det var ett lugnt och skönt område där vi trivdes jättebra. Värdparet var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Vi kan varmt rekommendera det här boendet. Mvh Liselotte och Bertil.

Jättefint ställe med promenadavstånd till vackra högklint och stenstränder med massor av fosiler. Hjälpsamt och trevligt värdpar. Rekommenderar.

We were able to book this Airbnb very spontaniously, and got very quick responses on our messages. When we arrived, we were welcomed nicely by Robert and his family and were introduced to our accomodations. We stayed in a tinyhouse, located in the scenic family garden, which consisted of two bedrooms, a living room with adjacent kitchen, a shower and a seperate bathroom with toilet. All of the facilites were clean and tidy, additionally the place was equipped with heaters to keep the guests warm and Wifi + TV for entertainment. In summer there is room for outdoor activites on the porch. In summary we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at this Airbnb and would recommend it warmly.

Wenche er en super vært, og meget imødekommende. Vi fik mulighed for at tjekke ind 3 timer før det normale indtjekningstidspunk. Fint lille sted for to personer, med kort gåafstand til indkøb og Visby gamle bydel. Desuden velegnet til hund. Kan varmt anbefale Wenches lille gæstehus hvis man vil gå på opdagelse i det gamle Visby centrum. Bare 2 min kørsel til nærmeste ladestander til elbil.

Thomas's cottage was an ideal location for an overnight stay on our bicycle trip from Visby to Faro. It's about half way between and is just a few hundred meters off the main cycle route to Faro. The cottage was very comfortable as were the beds. It was good value and Thomas was great in communicating with us via Airbnb. I would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone considering a cycling vacation to Gotland.

Väldigt mysigt läge nära hästhagar och chiliodlingar. Fin stuga med allt man behövde.

Vi blev vänligt mottagna och hade en fin vecka i Sofia och Simons boende! Vi bodde i båda stugorna med två barn på 5 år och en bebis och det fungerade bra. Ca 15-30 min bil till fina stränder, , gårdscaféer, matbutiker, Fåröfärjan. Huset ligger avskilt längs en grusväg med väldigt lite trafik. Man bor nära värdparets egna hus och barnens delade studsmatta, lekstuga mm vilket fungerade mycket bra för oss.

Very friendly and kind hosts in a nice part of Tofta - close enough to the busy areas but far enough away to be quiet (10 min cycle). A nice little beach just 200m away and the golf course is 5 mins up the road if you wanted to combine your trip. Also a great bakery 5 min walk away (the best in the area). The accommodation has everything you need, would highly recommend to explore the local area.

Rolf och hans fru var väldigt hjälpsamma, trevliga och imötesgående och rummet var litet och mysigt. Trädgården var också väldigt trevlig och lummig, så härligt att bo så nära Botaniska och havet också för att luften blev så frisk och doftande. Det var tyst om natten och vi sov gott i sköna sängar. Dock var köket mindre än väntat och därför ganska besvärligt att laga mat i, men det gick. Det mesta fanns utom stor kastrull vilket vi säkert hade kunnat låna av det trevliga värdparet. Vi åt mestadels i trädgården men när det regnade fanns det bara ett bord bredvid sängen att äta vid, då kändes det lite trångt. Roligt att bo innanför murarna i en vacker gränd hos trevlig familj.

Nytt och välutrustat attefallshus i lugnt område nära Visby, cyklar till Stortorget på 10 minuter. Trevligt värdpar. Vi åt alla måltider i trädgården. Lätt med bil.

This is a great spot for anyone who likes their peace and quiet. It doesn't get better than a private house on a farm with horses, surrounded by fields, with cranes calling and swallows zooming around. The space is clean, has everything one needs, even the essentials (the listing says "no essentials" and yet everything was there). Very easy to find, only 30km from Visby and it's a completely different world. Would recommend to anyone who wants to focus on the northern parts of Gotland and Fårö

En av de bästa platserna att bo på om du vill besöka Visby, nära Kneippbyn, Högklint utsiktsplats och Toftastrand! Vi hade en underbar tid på Elsas gästhus. Våra tre barn älskade att plocka björnbär och springa runt i trädgården. Elsa är en fantastisk värd, både lyhörd och välkomnande, vilket fick oss att känna oss som hemma. Med en kort bilresa till Visby och Tofta samt en kort promenad till Högklint utsiktsplats fanns det alltid något roligt att göra. Vi ser redan fram emot att besöka igen!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it does not disappoint! You are right in the heart of Visby! Simple but comfortable little house - exactly what the pictures show :) thanks for another wonderful vacation and we will see you again next time!
