Our home was built in 1905 with additions in 1996. The Guesthouse was designed as a true ‘in-law’ suite and was constructed in 2010. We're in the historic downtown Toccoa neighborhood where folks still sit on their front porches and greet others as they amble by on the sidewalks. You are welcome to use the rear porch and breezeway during your visit with us. You’ll find the property convenient, safe, quiet & private with the advertised essential amenities available to make your visit pleasurable

In the summer months on the weekends and holidays kayaks, jet skis and small boats visit the falls. This property is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Tranquil Chauga River Getaway offers a clean, safe, quiet retreat on beautiful Chauga River. There is a private dock that offers fishing and access by boat to Lake Hartwell. Multiple private decks provide river views, as well as, wildlife like ducks, blue herring, birds, and the occasional beaver. Private, dead end road access means minimal traffic. Area provides activities like waterfalls, hiking, kayaking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing pier, rafting, sightseeing, etc.

“on the edge” is a small, cozy, rustic, lakefront cabin with easy walk to a private dock on Lake Hartwell. Great for fishing and swimming. Public boat ramp 2 miles. Living/dining area, two bedrooms. Relax on the large porch with swing and rocking chairs or enjoy fire pit area. No kitchen but includes microwave, full fridge, toaster, Keurig, coffee maker and gas grill.
