I had a wonderful stay at this villa! The views were absolutely stunning—waking up to that scenery every day was a real treat. The overall ambiance was calm, cozy, and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Both the indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and beautifully maintained, offering plenty of room to unwind, dine, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The staff was amazing—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. A special shoutout to the chef Ranga who was fantastic and prepared delicious hotel-style meals that made the experience feel even more luxurious. it was a truly memorable stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with great service and stunning views.

Fantastic home and some great help from Danuo and Praba who cooked some fantastic food and were always there to help and offer services and information . Praba was a great Caddy ! Overall a fantastic host, house helps and definitely recommend for families and friends coming to Victoria

What an amazing place, in a beautiful area of the island. From the moment we drew up to the gates of the Dutch House, we were greeted by the most gorgeous Dutch villa, and the all-pervasive smile of Kannan, who looked after us like members of the family during our stay. The house sits high on the hills outside of Bandarawela, up a short, but very steep road, which gives it a great vantage point over the surrounding lush hills and mountains. It’s a great climate so a gin and tonic on the veranda was a joy. We made use of the pool, and although not heated, you soon get used to it. The surrounding gardens are very well kept and have a plethora of birds and other wildlife. The food prepared by the on site chef was wonderful, as was the attentive service from Kannan. We also had the best sleep we've had during our trip. Even if you’re not in the immediate area, a drive here and a stay in this wonderful house, will surely be one of the highlights of any trip. It was for ours.

Wow! This place is incredible, if you love golf you’ll be in heaven. I’ve never played at a more friendly club ever! The members are so welcoming and we made some awesome friends here that we will keep in touch with. Alan is a great host and did even more than required we feel really privileged to have met such wonderful people. His property is amazing, you won’t be disappointed, along with his care taker and house keeper we felt relaxed, safe and well looked after. Our 10 day stay here will be hard to beat, we can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Uschi & Anith’s property in Ella was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. Uschi was abroad during our stay and very communicative when we made our booking. Ajith was in Ella and we cannot emphasise how special he made our trip. The home is located in the mountains with the most incredible views (& peacocks!) It’s very peaceful, quiet & perfect for slow mornings or days around the house if you’re looking to relax. Ajith’s family cooked meals for us at the house when requested, and the local gardener who takes care of the house is very kind and respectful. Over our 5 day stay, Ajith made sure all of our tuktuk’s were organised at a very good price, since you need one to access the property. He seems to know everyone in town and gave us the most incredible tips & suggestions based on what we wanted out of our time in Ella. We were so well looked after & it was truly a highlight to spend time & learn from Ajith and to see the town through his eye :)

The apartment was everything we expected. Very clean and only 300m to the beach .Felt very safe at all times. Theepan was always available to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend and would stay again. Thanks for everything

A hidden green gem within the town center! We had a lovely stay at Teena's. The warm welcome and king coconuts during check in set the tone for a very homely stay, this place was exactly what we needed during our stay. It was quite central and it was ideal to explore the local town center. Teena was very accommodating to last minute changes due to some delays. The place was very clean and was exactly as it was in the pictures. Loved the minimal and tastefully decorated space, definitely will be staying here without any hesitation the next time we are back in Batti! Thank you for being a great host!

We can only recommend staying in this Villa. It is very quiet, but still close to the main street with all the restaurants and surf shops and has three private rooms, a basic kitchen and living area. The communication with the host was easy and his father was close by to help with any issues. The only negative aspect was that our room wasn't cleaned propperly. Probably that was because we were there at the beginning of the season and it had been empty for a longer time. The rest of the villa was clean.

will stay again, separate house 3 levels! Has a lot of things for kitchen and cooking. has veranda views but no patio furniture to enjoy your cup of coffee with view from balcony. if you have many heavy bags can be a challenge to carry up narow stairs. Need some better instructions how to use water heater, also would be helpful if microwave was connected to outlet. place is very spacious, you can go upto 3rd floor. cameras for security. Not much things to do in the walking area, neighbours can be noisy but didnt bother me. easy communication and someone there to help close by. Great value, come with family

We ( family with kids & elderly parents) enjoyed our stay. The location was as described and ever more beautiful & serene than the picture. Very self sufficient cosy rooms, had all the amenities as described. The property caretaker was very friendly, always willing to help and make our stay comfortable. He went to the fish market especially for us, since we requested local fish curry for dinner. He treated us with home made sweets & savouries on New year morning. He went above & beyond to ensure my kids & elderly parents were comfortable. We enjoyed the generous portions of dinner & break fast cooked by the caretaker. Close to all the attractions in Ella. Will definitely recommend this to place to my friends & family.

I had an amazing time at Bliss Yoga Cottage in Whiskey Point. The place is calm, peaceful, and surrounded by nature—perfect for unwinding. The beach is just a short walk away, making it easy to catch the sunrise or enjoy a nap on the beach. The cottage itself was absolutely beautiful—spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and very well equipped with everything you might need. There’s a lovely garden full of greenery and a beautiful yoga patio that made my mornings extra special. You can really feel the love and attention to detail that went into creating this space. The host (Beth) was outstanding—truly a Super Host! And the house manager was incredibly helpful, kind, and always available if I needed anything. Everything was well-organized and made me feel completely at home. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful, beautifully maintained retreat near the beach in Sri Lanka!

We had a great time at Charlie’s house. The house is very close to the beach. The room is clean as well as the kitchen. the host is great and communicative. I recommend it to anyone for a short or longer stay in Arugam bay.

We loved our stay in this clean and compact studio apartment. There is a beautiful view over the valley. We also really valued being outside of the hustle and bustle of Ella while still having easy access to the town - we had our own tuktuk making getting up and down very easy. It's a decent walk up and downhill if you don't have a vehicle, although there are also plenty of cafes and restaurants easy access along the road. You can also eat entirely at the Airbnb and the food was excellent. Host was easy to communicate with - we would highly recommend a peaceful stay here 💚
