This is a beautifully renovated house. River access for kayaking, canoeing, swimming. kayaks and life jackets are available for guests. There is a large back yard with a firepit facing the water as well as a back porch/deck and a large side/front deck to enjoy watching the water and wildlife. The area is quiet and peaceful but yet directly located in the town of Potsdam. There are window AC units in each bedroom as well as central heat.

This private apartment is nestled in a wooded location adjacent to miles of hiking and skiing, and Mtn biking trails in the Stone Valley Recreation area along the Raquette River. Higley Flow was a perfect, relaxing venue for our family that was in the area to attend a college graduation. It is a beautiful house; it has a fabulous wraparound deck. John was very proactive in communicating, calling me a week in advance to introduce himself and explain the house. The house was very clean. We did not have a chance to enjoy the outdoor spaces due to the weather but they look great. Elderly guests or those with physical disabilities should be aware of the spiral staircase that is difficult to navigate. There is an alternate staircase outdoors, but was difficult to use during foul weather.
