Lovely home, very spacious, beautiful, and excellently stocked with amenities. Minutes away from the Lake, grocery store, town, etc. Fantastic and responsive hosts -- we helped refill one of the propane tanks and they reimbursed as promised! We will stay here again next time we're back in Lake Tahoe.

Nice little Craftsman home within easy walking distance to the Reno River Walk and downtown. Convenient to the main streets to reach the freeway, as well. Very clean and comfortable.

Amazing lakefront property and best place we’ve stayed in Tahoe yet! Incredible views from the main living space. Ryan, the host was extremely accommodating and responsive our entire stay. The use of paddle boards and the dock was a hit with our kids. We paddled to Garwoods, a must on every visit for our family. We had everything we needed from beach towels to kitchen utensils & the bbq. We are very appreciative to Ryan & his family for sharing their lake house with us to make our own memories and we hope to return in the future!

Great place especially for larger groups. We had 14 and everyone was comfortable. Just be aware that this house is 4 levels and the stairs are a consideration. Would go back again!

My family and I had the MOST relaxing stay here. We didn’t leave the house! The views from the house were just so breathtaking. And the house itself felt so homey. We had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone.

While the property itself has a few areas that could use some attention, I want to give a full 5 stars for the host, who was incredibly receptive, responsive, and open to feedback. It’s clear that this is a personally owned and managed space—not a cookie-cutter rental run by investors—and that made all the difference. The host genuinely cared about our experience and was proactive about addressing repair needs. That level of communication and accountability is rare and deeply appreciated. I’d much rather support an individual like this than stay in a corporate-owned listing. Looking forward to seeing how this space evolves under such thoughtful ownership. I would absolutely rent this property again in the future. I wish all hosts were as wonderful and caring as he is.

We had such a great stay here with family and friends over the weekend! The cabin was beautiful, in a great location, and the host was super friendly and responsive. One thing that really stood out was how well-stocked everything was, which isn’t something we’ve typically seen at other Airbnbs. The kitchen had everything we needed, from pots and pans to coffee machines, spices, and seasonings, which was perfect since we did a lot of cooking. Just a heads-up if you’re a coffee person: they provide the machines but not the coffee, so be sure to bring your own! The place was also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus. We loved that there were tons of games, activities, and even outdoor gear to keep everyone entertained. You can tell the host really cares about the guest experience, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Very spacious house, conveniently located close to Lake Blvd, providing a short drive to Kings Beach, Northstar, Tahoe City, and the Alpine and Palisades resorts. The house is quite spacious, with plenty of sitting space, a good kitchen and dining room space. There is room for 4 cars in the driveway, plus one or two in the garage (depending on your parking skills ;-), which is nice. My friends and I are already thinking of trying to rent this lodge again next year (although this review may make it more difficult...). We had a small issue with the hot tub -- it was perfectly usable (it is really big too), but the jets did not function correctly every time. This has been reported and given Madelyn's responsiveness, I am confident that this will be solved.

We had a great time! The place was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Mario was a great host and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend!

We liked that it felt like a family cabin, not something put together just to rent out. Updated kitchen and bathroom. At the end of a dead end street so very private and quiet with a walking trail right out the door.

Great Cabin to stay over at while on a mini vacation with the family over the summer ! :) it was cool that it was a 5 minute drive away from Kings Beach and nearby places to eat and several gas stations.

We had the most incredible stay at this stunning cabin nestled in the heart of Lake Tahoe. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt like a luxurious mountain retreat. The views from the deck were breathtaking—especially at sunrise and sunset, with the trees silhouetted against the lake and mountains. The amenities were top-notch: cozy fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, and even a hot tub under the stars. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, from the plush linens to the complimentary coffee and local guides. It was the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. We spent our days hiking nearby trails, relaxing at common beach, and relaxing by the fire in the evenings. The location is perfect—secluded enough to feel peaceful, but close enough to great restaurants, shops, and activities.

Beautiful place to stay. It was nice to be just outside of the traffic of main street, yet close enough to be near favorite attractions and restaurants. Loved the hosts book with ideas on places to go. I don’t think we have ever stayed in a place that was so fully stocked with the little day to day needs plus a whole lot more.

This place was beautiful and spacious!! The BBQ and patio were a great feature, and it's only a few minutes to drive down to the lake! Our kids really enjoyed it, and having their own TV in their room gave us some time to ourselves here and there as well since they could hang out down there. The master bath is incredible as well, and the jetted tub with the waterfall is amazing, and the shower was very relaxing too! Will definitely save this one in case we're in the area again!

Views, views,views. William’s home was everything we expected and some. Great quiet and tranquil location. Definitely what we were looking for during Thanksgiving. This was the perfect amount of space for the amount of guests we had and not to mention the amount of bathrooms available. We were fortunate that the snow fall had stopped during our stay and all we had was fresh powder to enjoy with the kids. Williams place also has a lot of activities for the kids to keep them entertained. The living area along with the kitchen was extremely spacious making us all feel comfortable and at home. William was always available for questions and helped us with getting in. I highly recommend his location. Next time we’re in Kirkwood, we’ll definitely be staying here again.

We loved Amanda's cabin. It was private and secluded enough where we felt we had our own space while still being close to everything we needed. Our toddler also loved the park which was less than a 10 minute walk from the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals at home instead of eating out too. We would definitely stay again!

Great value for Tahoe! Perfect place to stay within walking distance to anything you would need including casinos, restaurants and bars.

Thomas’s property is in a quiet, residential subdivision with its own beach, next door to Zephyr Cove Resort. Staying in Zephyr Cove is a great alternative to South Lake Tahoe. It’s just far enough away from town to avoid all the traffic and hoards of people, but it’s only about a 10 minute drive to Stateline / Heavenly areas. There’s even a Safeway nearby. The private beach is sandy, clean, large and was not crowded. It has beautiful views of Zephyr Cove to across Lake Tahoe and features some amazing sunsets. It’s an easy walk from the cabin with only a slight elevation gain on the walk back. In the backyard there was a little wagon we used to haul our beach gear. The cabin had plenty of space for us all to spread out and relax, and made it easy to unwind and enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen is large with plenty of pots and pans, utensils, glassware and dishes, etc. The adjacent dining area has a beautiful oak table with plenty of seating.

Colby was a great host. He checked in with us to see how everything was going or if there was any issues. He was very responsive and flexible with us. We look forward on making future reservations with him. 😊
