Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Ecuador

Grand Selva Lodge is a fantastic choice for the budget-minded traveler who wants to enjoy the forest, have food available on-site, and a knowledgeable host who can help arrange transport, activities, etc. Karin was very friendly, and even catered to my daughter's food preference during our dinner. The night walk was fun, though it felt a bit hurried. That being said, for the average traveler it would be a fun hour of wildlife engagement, so I would recommend it. I'll stay longer next time, and hope to get a better handle on trails/access because I wasn't super clear on those options this go-around. Thank you, Karin ( y familia) - we will see you again!

Lugar 100% recomendado para descansar y alejarte de todo. El servicio fue muy cordial, siempre atentos a resolver cualquier inquietud. Definitivamente volvería.

Excellent petit déjeuner! La chambre était propre et le personnel attentionné. À distance de marche du centre-ville de Baños ou à environ $2 en taxi. $3,50/kilo pour le service de lessive, ce qui peut faire rapidement monter une facture. Nous avons payé $17 pour un petit sac d'épicerie. Somme toute, le service était rapide et bien fait. Nous recommandons pour les familles!

Had the most wonderful stay at Suchipakari. Made me feel right at home, very clean, quiet and relaxing. Definitely would stay there again! Met such amazing connections there too

Excelente lugar para vacacionar, excelentes servicios de la ciudad como piscina, hidromasaje, baño turco, wifi, música, etc, a pesar de encontrarse en medio de una maravillosa naturaleza, con una playa paradisíaca, casi virgen, con una puesta del sol espectacular, etc., etc.

Maravilloso lugar!!! muy tranquilo con un bello paisaje. Francisco, el dueño, es muy amable, hospitalario y muy atento. Las instalaciones son muy bonitas y muy limpias.

I loved the place and the waterfall was beautiful in daytime and spectacular at night with the lights. My only suggestion was the pillows may need to be in sun during day—-because of close to waterfall—the dampness left a slight mildew odor….William was VERY responsive with help!

vielen Dank! schlafen mit Geräuschen vom Flusswasser und Vogelgezwitscher war so schön. die Unterkunft ist einfach, hat aber alles was ich brauchte. das Frühstück war köstlich. der Host der Unterkunft Antonio war sehr freundlich und zeigte mir den Garten und organisierte mir kurzfristig eine Dschungeltour, die nicht besser hätte sein können. der Pool ist sehr schön ist Blick auf die Sterne ein schöner Abschluss des Tages. vielen Dank für alles. Ich empfehle dich weiter.

El hospedaje es hermoso, realmente vale la pena, respiras aire puro, la naturaleza, todo lindo Pero hay que tener en cuenta que para llegar al lugar si necesitas un buen carro 👀 ojo con eso! Y hace frío en las noches 🥶

The cabins and the view are every bit as beautiful as the pictures! Sebastián kindly extended the breakfast time for us, so we were able to enjoy a good breakfast after our swim in the lake.

Si quieres alejarte y rodearte 100% de naturaleza esta es tu mejor opción! Agendamos la cena y estuvo RIQUÍSIMO! Está a pocos minutos caminando de rancho de tortugas y rodeado de vegetación local. Los host 100% al servicio de nosotros, nos ayudaron con información adicional del lugar y nuestros siguientes tours, también nos facilitaron transporte para ir al puerto. La llegada batallamos un poco en encontrar el lugar pero valió la pena totalmente!

Recomiendo la hosteria Rio Quijos Ecolodge y, sobretodo, las actividades de Bird Watching. Fuimos a conocer a la madrugada el lek de gallos de la peña ! Un momento inolvidable !

This was a lovely experience for "glamping" in the countryside, on a property with beautiful rivers for swimming. The hosts were personable and accessible. They helped to arrange delicious and well-prepared meals for breakfast and dinner, served with care. There was someone on the property at all times to help, even to build a fire in the evenings. Recommended especially for family groups to relax and get away together.

Lieben Dank an Luisa und David für ihre tolle Gastfreundschaft. David hat wie ein Sternekoch für uns gekocht. Es war so lecker, ebenso das Frühstück. Vor allem werden Zutaten aus dem Obst- und Kräutergarten verwendet, Wurst und Fleisch kaufen sie vor Ort und nicht im Supermarkt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

El lugar super tranquilo , el camino para llegar es de tercer orden pero cualquier auto puede subir al sitio , la comida muy buena , Jenny te ayuda en todo ! recomendado!
