Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Eden Island, Seychelles

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Peponi. It was such a peaceful location but still close to popular Beau Vallon beach. It is on quite a steep hill but we had rented a car so it was no problem to us. Jamie was very responsive and friendly & helpful. It's a self catering apartment but she's always available by text - she even cleaned the room & put new bed linen when we went away to another island. The pool was small but clean & exactly as pictures show. We would definitely stay here again!

war eine schöne Unterkunft in der Natur mit viel Ruhe im grünen Flughunde Vögel Schildkröten und Bäumen voll Obst und Advokat mit denen wir bestens versorgt wurden. alle waren sehr zuvorkommend und immer hilfsbereit. Nochmals vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit waren unvergessliche 3 Wochen.

Safira was a wonderful host! She was gracious enough to let us check in early. The apartment is a nice size and had an amazing view facing west- the sunsets were lovely! I appreciated the daily cleaning, local recommendations, help making any excursion reservations, and attentiveness to get the hair dryer fixed during our stay. I suggest renting a car because it is a steep climb to the apartment but would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic place. The host assisted us with everything. Very clean place, it has all someone needs. When going back to Seychelles I will definitely stay at the same place. Host is not 5 stars, is 100 stars!!!

Vi var meget positivt overrasket over den service og behandling vi fik af Adam og Mervin Begge gjorde vores ophold meget behageligt, og bekvæmt. Servicen var langt over hvad man kan forvente af et Air BNB Ved ankomsten havde Adam lavet frisk juice af lokalt dyrket frugter, og løbende under vores ophold blev vores lejlighed opfrisket og han kom med frisk juice og frugt Adam og Mervin var tilstede i løbet af hele opholdet og havde vi de mindste udfordringer så var de klar til at hjælpe Det var begge meget venlige og imødekommende og vi kan klart anbefale et ophold hos dem Vi ville på et Ø-Hop, som både Adam og Mervin hjalp med at arrangere for os, og det var en rigtig god oplevelse Adam inviterede os også på en gril aften da hans søn havde fødselsdag mens vi var der, hvilket var rigtig hyggeligt Vi følte os rigtig godt behandlet og fordi vi havde en meget sen afgang med flyet, så sørgede de for at vi havde en sen udtjekning

Die Villa liegt einmalig schön eingebettet in die Berge, mit Blick auf den grünen Berghang und aufs Meer. Wir haben die Aussicht aus jedem Zimmer und vom Balkon und Freisitz sehr genossen. Die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Pool ist über einen kurzen, schönen Weg erreichbar und hat einen grandiosen Blick auf den Berghang. Da die Unterkunft in den Bergen liegt, fährt man mit dem Auto ab Beau Vallon 10/15 min auf schmalen, geschlängelten Straßen mit zum Teil blinden Kurven. Ein echtes Abenteuer. Wir haben uns aber sehr schnell daran gewöhnt und es ist auch nicht viel Verkehr auf dieser Straße.

Ibti was amazingly helpful. We had a few questions and she answered immediately. Dave is a great host that helped us with our questions as well. The place has an amazing view. It doesn’t matter what room you have. The hill to walk up after a night out at either the Beach Shak or Boat House is tough but the sunrises make up for it. Parking is tight but you can manage if you rent a car. The place has everything. Full kitchen, laundry, washroom, and hot water. We fell in love with Seychelles and will be back. When we do, we will book Dave’s place.

Die Unterkunft war einfach traumhaft – super sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit einer Aussicht vom Balkon, die man am liebsten einpacken würde! Die Lage war perfekt – ruhig, aber trotzdem zentral, sodass man alles schnell erreichen konnte. Man benötigt unbedingt ein Auto, welches man auch bequem über das Unterkunft mieten kann. Besonders toll war aber die Gastgeberin Therese: unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man hat sofort gemerkt, dass ihr das Wohl der Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Sie hat uns immer geholfen und sogar den Restaurant reserviert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt – ganz klare Empfehlung und wir kommen gerne wieder! Herzlichsten Dank an Therese und Peter für den unvergesslichen Aufenthalt.

We really enjoyed our stay! The views were super, the house was super cozy, there was interesting/important information provided & our hosts were friendly & flexible. However, the location is a little tricky to get to without a car, so we would recommend having a car during your stay ( also super convenient to get around the island) Thank you Lessy & family for everything

Quando siamo arrivati all’airbnb eravamo reduci da una brutta esperienza con un altro host. Ebbene, Agnelle e Francis sono stati l’esatto opposto e la prova della vera accoglienza creola! Gentilissimi, disponibili, ci sono venuti incontro in tutti i modi con check in flessibile, accogliendoci anche con dei dolcetti e preparandoci una cena (fantastica!), nonostante soggiornassimo solo una notte. La casa è tenuta perfettamente e il quartiere molto tranquillo, immerso nel verde e vicino alle spiagge. Anche se non abbiamo potuto vedere molto di Mahe a causa del meteo porteremo un bel ricordo della città grazie ad Agnelle e Francis. Consiglieremo questo airbnb a tutti i nostri amici che verranno alle Seychelles

My husband stayed for 5 nights here. It was a working trip which requires him to be at Taylor Smith Dockyard, Providence daily so Jeannine’s cottage was the nearest to it, way up on a little hill & very quiet yet reachable in a few minutes. Public transportation is hard to find as inform earlier by the host so lucky to have a car. Would definitely recommend this place if looking for some private away from Thé crowds & sounds. Host is very accommodating in her small gestures of leaving garden fruits in the fridge upon check in! Tells a lot about a person 👍.

AMAZING! Mary is an amazing host! She was super flexible and supported us throughout. She super kindly gave us early check-in and late check-out to accommodate our flight. Her place is super clean, nicely furnished (it feels like home). The location is great in the south of the island, super close to nature and the most beautiful beaches. I would recommend getting a car so you can properly explore the island, it’s a 5min drive to amazing beaches. Mary also supported us to rent the car from the airport. I would definitely recommend and look forward to going back!

Die Lage der Wohnung ist unbeschreiblich. Der direkte Blick aufs Meer mit dem Garten und dem Pool haben den Aufenthalt toll gemacht. Bei Fragen waren die Gastgeber immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich:).

If you are looking for a very, very well cleaned house, in a quiet strategic place to reach both northern and southern beaches ( by car would be much better than by bus), you are in the right place! Everything is new and clean and Rita is the perfect host. She prepared a fresh lemonade at our arrival, and since my girls liked it a lot, she kindly refill several times. Other valuable plus: dinner and transfer at very reasonable price. Rita was leaving next to us, always ready to satisfy our requests, but leaving us all the privacy we needed.

Arno s'est montré très réactif dans ses réponses et souple par rapport à l'horaire d'arrivée et de départ. Nous avons été accueillis par Sarah qui passe faire le ménage chaque jour. Souriante et accueillante, elle est très agréable. La maison est conforme à la description faite par Arno et les photos correspondent à la réalité. La vue est incroyable, la piscine un vrai plaisir pour se relaxer en fin de journée. Un véhicule est nécessaire car il n'y a pas de restaurant ou d'activité sur place, ce qui en fait un endroit paisible, idéal pour s'y reposer, entouré d'une végétation luxuriante. Notre séjour aux Seychelles a été en tous points parfait.

Nilza var en elskverdig vert, snill og imøtekommende. Vi tar med oss mange gode minner fra dette flotte stedet, som passet fint for en familie på 5. En ekstra madrass på et av rommene løste romfordelingen. Opplevelsen var autentisk, litt avsides fra turistfellene. Kort kjøreavstand til det meste. Et godt utgangspunkt for å oppleve Mahe. Vi kom tett på den lokale kulturen og trivdes godt. Vi hadde leiebil, parkering innenfor port. Lokalbussen stopper også like ved. Godt utstyrt bolig. Vi hadde 12 netter her og fant virkelig roen. Vi kommer gjerne igjen og vil gi Nilza og hennes hus «From dusk till dawn» våre beste anbefalinger.

Nach Aufenthalten 2017 und 2018 waren wir nun wieder Gäste bei Roy und seiner Familie. Wir haben schon in allen 3 Wohnungen gewohnt und können besonders die mittlere (= größte mit zweitem Schlafzimmer, falls es mehrere Personen oder Eltern mit Kind/ern sein sollten) und die oberste Wohnung (hier haben wir auch dieses Jahr übernachtet) mit tollem Ausblick aufs Meer, empfehlen. Die Wohnung war super sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Auch eine Waschmaschine ist im Badezimmer vorhanden. Die Lage ist zentral auf Mahe, eine gute Ausgangslage in alle Richtungen. Mietwagen ist notwendig. Die Auffahrt ist sehr steil, aber machbar (Klimaanlage ausschalten hilft bergauf). Die Google Maps Wegbeschreibung ist falsch. Man muss, wenn man am Busdepot vorbei ist, weiter geradeaus bleiben und nicht rechts abbiegen. Vielen lieben Dank an Roy und seine bezaubernde Familie für die tolle Zeit! Absolute Empfehlung!

Thank you so much 🩵! Marcella is a wonderful host and inspiring person working a lot for church. The Seychelles has been our best vacay with sunbathing, hiking, snorkeling, diving, Easter church services, surrounded by the most beautiful nature! We loved the Seychelles as well as Marcella's place! It is clean, spacious, well-furnished, and the view is absolutely amazing! Marcella was very responsive, and helped us kindly incl. late check-out. We would not recommend coming without a car but also enjoyed walking to the beach and restaurants sometimes. The location is great for a start, maybe staying in the south or one of the other islands is worth a consideration next time. One downside may be the price. Others are temporary construction noise around, missing refills (e.g. toilet paper) or on request (e.g. salt, trash bags), no AC in the living room, in the bedrooms it didn't always cool down, and parking can be tricky. I Highly recommend Maryse’s place. She and Chris have been amazing host to us. The olive tree residence is 8-10 mins from the city, uphill amidst nature where you can hear the sound of breeze blowing , birds chirping, an amazing view of the ocean and fog at times. It’s overall an amazing place to get a detox from the hustle and bustle of city life. For those who prefer using public transportation, the bus stop is just a minute walk. Airport is approx 15 mins drive by car from the location. There are amazing restaurants at Eden island which is a 10 min drive from the residence. Maryse and Chris are warm and welcoming and have been always responsive to our questions and also guided us with local recommendations. The house was well equipped, spacious and spotless. The garden area is full of flower and fruit plantations. We wish we stayed there longer. Without a second thought, we would book this place when we visit Seychelles again.

Ein wahres Kleinod. Wir hatten Ruhe und Entspannung und alles was man für die Zeit dort benötigt. Benjamin war vor Ort und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben und immer nachgefragt, ob alles ok ist. Die Lage war für uns prima, weil wir einen Mietwagen für die Zeit hatten und den Süden und Westen der Insel erkunden wollten. Von dort aus ist alles prima erreichbar. Man bekommt hier und in Anse Royale noch was vom "echten Leben" mit, was uns gut gefallen hat, insbesondere im Vergleich zu Beau Vallon. Zum Bus läuft man ein paar Minuten (durch die Hitze), der bringt einen auch überall hin. Da das Haus auf einem kleinen Berg liegt, ist es ohne Auto aber etwas beschwerlicher. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!!

Beau Bassin was a very neat and clean space. We appreciated the quiet surroundings and kind helpful neighbors. It was a very good place to stay with a kind and flexible host.

Good accommodation, very clean and spacious apartment. Everything worked well and Roy was a very responsive and helpful host. His wife surprised us with a plate of fresh fruit and some birthday cake which was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this Airbnb.

Heureusement que Shirley avait tout bien expliqué et même organisé la location de la voiture, tout c’es bien passé, nous avions le loueur dans l’aéroport quand nous avons atteri, il nous ont même aidé pour avoir notre Simcard local, mais les indications routière sont une catastrophe aux Seychelles! Par contre le panneau de Beau Bassin se voyait très bien! Shirley nous accueillait chaleureusement et nous expliquait bien tout. Dans la pièce un distributeur d’eau potable avec l’eau chaude ett l’eau froide, renouvellé des qu’élle était vers la fin un grand frigo et freezer dans la chambre. si quelque chose nous manquait, une fois demandé quelques heures plus tard on nous l’apportait. vraiment un excellent service . Nous demandions si il y avaient des cocotiers pour nos œufs le matin 1 heure après ils se trouvaient dans nos placards. Il ya pour chaque appart un étendoir et la possibilité d’utiliser gratuitement la machine à laver. Le seul petit problème la plomberie à réparer !

The stay in Roy's apartment was great, Roy and his family were super friendly, helpful, and easy to reach. The apartment was beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. Nearby, there's also a very nice beach where you can be almost alone. There's a supermarket nearby and in the apartment, everything is described about what you can do and where to get things. The pool is also very good, even with a glass roof. An all-around recommended apartment.
