The modern cabin from 2022 is located in the beach zone at Herlandsneset at the end of Atløy in Askvoll Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane. The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a special brand and knowledge known as a sailing brand along the coast. To the south is the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can go there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.

Take the trip to Dingja and stay in a lake house from the 1800s. Dingja is a small village at the outlet of Sognefjorden. The lake arch is cozy and functional, and is located in the marina with terrace beyond the sea. Here there are fishing opportunities in the sea, fresh water and river Lots of nice hiking trails in mountains to each other and lookout points. Hike to ancient settlements and cemetery from Viking teams at historical Dingeneset. Nearest neighbor is Dingja storkiosk. From the sea room there is a 3 min walk to child-friendly sandy beach.

Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. There is a lot of eagles, especially sea eagles, but also golden eagles. Follow us on insta on Birdbox Sotra If you want to rent a kayak, we recommend northernexposure.

Bungalow by the Sognefjord.

Recharge and enjoy peace and quiet, overlooking the beautiful Sognefjord in our new Bungalow. Sleeps 4, but we recommend for 2 persons. Recommended to see nearby: Ancient ruins of World War II. Rich archery where you can walk all the way out to the lighthouse lantern. Gulatingsparken, 20 min by car. Bicycle roads. During the winter months you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky . The ferry goes over the fjord, and to Solund.(free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, not shop in Rutledal. Welcome.

I recently stayed at this beautiful Airbnb in Gulen and it was exactly what I needed for a peaceful getaway. The location is incredibly serene, surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The tranquility of the area allowed me to fully relax and recharge. The accommodation itself was comfortable and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a stress-free stay. Super spacious place, in a quite bay on an lovely island! That being said: Bente’s place has lots to offer. Spacious bathroom, large bedrooms, extra large living room and a dinner table that can easily host six persons. The kitchen has everyhing you need and more than what you’d ask for in an AirBnB. The souroundings are super nice and there are plenty of hiking opportunities that are easy to reach by car. We had a great time at Bente’s place!

Such a beautiful cottage, right on the water. Left and right, nothing but water and nature. We have rarely seen anything so beautiful. Communication with Oystein was straightforward and easy. Since our navigation system misled us, Oystein helped us out of our predicament very quickly with patience. When we arrived, the heating was already on and it was cozy and warm. The bed was facing the window, so we had a perfect view of the fjord from there. The kitchen was very well equipped for our holiday needs. We prepared simple dishes every day. The attempt to shower with the cold fjord water worked great, but it is certainly not to everyone's taste. It was a great experience. Oystein has created a little paradise. It is absolutely recommended to visit this beautiful place and stay there for a few days or longer. We will be happy to come back. Sigrid and Achim
