The house is nestled on a private farm next to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. It is located on top of the mountain with spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the best place to watch sunsets when the weather allows. It is a one bedroom non luxury house that was built by one of the first Quaker settlers in the Monteverde area. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer for the best comfort. We are in the cloud forest, be ready for weather changes and bugs.

Nice house with incredible views, not only to the Arenal Volcano, but also to the Tenorio and Miravalles Volcanoes and the town of La Fortuna. The design of this house is inspired on the Oxcart which were very important for the economy of the country on the 1900's. You will also find our grandpa's Oxcart next to the house, and it is very photogenic, so feel free to take a nice picture of it, with the Volcano at the back!

Casa Rural El Mirador offers the traveler fully equipped kitchen, TV with Netflix or youtube, air conditioning, and the peace that only in the countryside can be found. Bath towels and essentials like shampoo, body cream, and soap are also included. The only place that has hot water is the shower, since Costa Rica is a warm country all year long so it is not accustomed to putting hot water on the other taps.
