Many thanks to Mrs. Elena, who is the lady in charge of these booths. You can breathe peace, tranquility, it is a rural area with a lot of potential, I went for a walk, I went to the reservation that is about 200 meters away, very friendly people, I will really come back because it is a place that allows me to disconnect from the busy world where I live. Recommended if you want a place full of nature, peace, typical homemade food and to connect with nature. Thanks also to Johanna for joining me through the whole process, during my time here.

My family and I love this place. Away from everything, ideal for unplugging off. You can use the restaurant kitchen. The staff is very friendly. Take into account the mosquito season that is when the waters of the river go down and there is standing water left in the vicinity of the house, I recommend bringing a good repellent. Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay.

Villa Morales was a great stay for my friends and I. Sergio and Yaquelin were very responsive, and Yaquelin showed us around the house and helped us figure out the bus schedule. Cano Negro is a very small town with no ATMs and just a few restaurants, but was peaceful and beautiful, and had plenty of friendly village dogs to keep us company. We took a 3 hour boat tour and saw caimans, iguanas, monkeys, turtles, and about 130 bird species (including a Jabiru: Costa Rica's largest bird)! Worth the trip, and we were grateful to the hosts of Villa Morales for sharing their stay with us!

Very nice place, private and safe. Unfortunately, because it is a farm, we did not have internet throughout the accommodation and the telephone signal is very weak, almost non-existent, perfect if you are looking to disconnect. In the description it says what Tele is, however there was no, it is the only thing that does not match the description, outside of that everything is exactly the same as the photos.

We had the most amazing stay on our entire trip at Yadira & Claudio, along with their son Nestor and his girlfriend Veronica! We were offered both local dishes and baked goods, home brewed snaps, as well as fresh fruit from the garden, which tasted amazing. They spent the whole morning showing us their land, which among other things had a pineapple plantation while they told and designated monkeys and birds in the forest. Even though the hosts only speak Spanish which we don't, they were extremely hospitable and welcoming! Their son and boyfriend were visiting and speaking English so they translated a lot for us and were really amazing too! A clear recommendation. It's just before you have to go to Costa Rica just to stay here with the most beautiful people!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Staying with Dennis and his lively family was wonderful in every aspect. The location is great, with the balcony overlooking the river and the sound of the nearby rapids putting us to sleep at night. There are plenty of comedores and small shops just meters away. All members of the family - Daisy, Dennis‘ wife as well as their four children - were friendly and open and it was great to talk to them or go for a little exploration. Thanks for the wonderful days!

Such a beautiful place, right on the river edge. Natasha was so helpful offering tips for local walks and activities. We were lucky enough to be in El Castillo for fiesta and loved the rodeo. The breakfast, especially the lovely omelettes made with local eggs were delicious, as was all the food we ate at Daniella's, we had two evening meals our best in Nicuragua. The rooms are spacious airy and spotlessly clean, and such a luxury to have a hot shower.
