We really loved the peacefulness of this condo. Being away from the tourist destinations, quiet, and a beautiful view was just what we needed. Perfect to just relax, enjoy the beach, and recharge.

This home was perfect for our group of six! The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful as well. Being able to do laundry was super helpful given we are traveling for two weeks with carry ons only. The host was very responsive and helpful during our whole stay! During our three night stay we easily got to see three beaches in the area! The only downside to this was the drive in to the property. While the home is in a gated community the drive there is through and underdeveloped area of guanacaste with unpaved roads with huge potholes. We had 4 wheel drive so it wasn’t a huge deal. This stay was still definitely worth the price!

Our stay at Andrew’s place was wonderful! My daughter and I stayed for a month and created our own wellness retreat. This space was perfect for us. What stood out was the beautiful views and serene environment. We had privacy and amenities we needed were a close drive into town. We had a rental car which helped us get around. A car is a must. Andrew was a super host and very responsive when anything came up that we needed help with. Even when he was in Europe, he was quick to respond and help us resolve things. For instance when the fridge wasn’t working he had another one brought in asap and got a technician in to fix it. We often used the community pool which is a short drive away. There were a couple of times it was not cleaned when we went. On our last day at the pool we saw a group of monkeys passing through the trees around the pool. It was very cool. Our stay in CR and Andrew’s place has some beautiful memories for us. We would certainly consider going back!

Happy House, 20 minutes to Tamarindo

The view is absolutely amazing! The villa has all the amenities you’ll want and is very safe with two gates, alarm system and security cameras. The sounds of the jungle and the wildlife are very present. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you don’t mind driving 20 min to Tamarindo and seeing a few bugs, this is the best Airbnb to rent! The host is very nice and responsive. Would definitely go back!

Axel’s Samara home is nothing short of amazing! After a super long day of travel I was speechless walking through the door - it is even better than the pictures. This property is a great way to experience a smaller coastal Costa Rica town while still feeling like you are living in luxury. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The little blue house is exactly what one needs. Has a working kitchen, quiet, and best of all the beach is right there. It was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after busy excursions into the cities or whatever else. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again

A Perfect Weekend Escape Into Nature’s Arms Tucked between convenience and wilderness lies a stay that whispers peace. Just 300m from a local shop and 1km from a gas station, yet worlds away from the clamor of routine, the house offers that rare luxury: disconnection. Cradled by nature, mornings began with birdsongs, distant chatter of hallow monkeys visit from red/blue parrots — a true symphony of the wild. But let us remember, nature is no zoo; the beauty of wild animals lies in admiring them from afar. We visited Avellanas beach, a 30–40 minute scenic drive, felt like a hidden gem — soft sand, rolling waves, and time suspended. The house, perfect for family, friends, and the curious minds of little ones, fed the soul. And yet, if this retreat had one missing note, it was the internet — a touch stronger, and the balance would be sublime. Still, perhaps that, too, was intentional: a nudge to unplug, slow down, and savor the now. A getaway well seasoned, and truly worth repeating.

This Airbnb is the perfect place to disconnect. The area is super quiet—ideal for relaxing and recharging. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Rodrigo was an amazing host—always attentive, quick to respond, and thoughtful about every detail. You can tell he genuinely cares about making the stay great. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway away from the noise, this is the spot. Highly recommended!
