Cabin holiday rentals in El Paso County

We visited Colorado to attend the Pikes Peak Prairie to Peak Birding Festival & chose the stay at Andy's for proximity to multiple activities, parks, and local birding spots. We SO hit the jackpot! Not only was the home beautiful, spacious & inviting but Andy thought of every amenity for adults, children, babies, or pets - right down to spices, games, sleds, high chair, pet crate & water bowl. The huge open yet warm & cozt living room with attached playroom and a patio w/hot tub made us not even want to leave "home"! Our trip plan was all about birding, though, so we were thrilled to discover that Andy was not only a kind, responsive, caring host who looked out for us like family, but also a fellow birder! He completely respected our privacy and space, yet was agreeable to meeting in person to share detailed & very helpful birding and sightseeing recommendations that we took & enjoyed every moment of! We would have extended our stay if possible, and just can't wait to return! ☺️

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. This home is in a tranquil mountain setting. We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife in the neighborhood especially. We saw foxes daily, deer and even a bear - all from the home and while walking around the neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and views from the deck. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. The home and neighborhood are very quiet and the town of Palmer Lake is charming.

Truly a great stay! It felt like we were staying in a mini resort - hot tub, our own"pub" with games and snacks, bubbling water fountains that helped cancel out the noise of the highways, outdoor fireplace, grill, they had it all! It was also nearby to the mountain towns and we easily found stuff to do nearby. Highly recommend this place! Of course we have to shout out TK who was the host on site - very helpful and disappeared like a ghost during our stay.

We loved our stay just outside Woodland Park — the cabin was cozy, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful forest. It felt like a perfect escape into nature, but still close enough to town for anything we needed. Waking up to the trees and crisp mountain air was a highlight. Would absolutely come back for another recharge.

We loved our stay very much!! Sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful surroundings and weather was a big highlight. We were a group of 3 couples and really appreciated having the bedrooms on different levels for privacy. The home was very clean and comfortable and would definitely stay again. Don’t miss the town of Green Mt Falls. We had breakfast at the Pantry and loved the creekside patio, atmosphere and the live acoustic music.

My family and I had planned a family vacation with my parents. There was plenty of room for us all to have privacy, plenty of bathrooms, lots of ways outside, beautiful views, comfy beds and pillows, the hot tub was a great touch! We seen wildlife and host was very responsive. Close by stores, food, and activities. We enjoyed our stay and made great memories.

We felt right at home the moment that we arrived. Julie's home was immaculate and extremely cozy. The mountain views are unbeatable and we even had some deer come through the yard the morning we checked out. Thank you so much for making your home accessible to visitors. Staying here was a real treat.

the listing was not as private as expected. very easy to find, corner house in town. right by the park and farmers market. take a short walk to get the beautiful mountains views. Very beautiful and clean home. you can tell that they took the time to make it all look and feel authentic.

Douglass and Annie were so nice and went above and beyond to accommodate us. They even left some dog treats for our dog ! We really enjoyed watching movies but their amazing fire place and even saw 5 deer when we were walking around outside. Definitely would stay again

Amazing private cabin yet still close to everything! We would love to rent again. Perfect for our family of 5 with small kids. Make sure to have a 4 wheel drive car for the dirt road leading to the cabin.

Such a rad spot. Creek patio was awesome, got a nice visit by a passing by Moose. Felt right between glamping and an air bnb due to lack of air conditioning but it didnt take away from the experience of thoroughly enjoying it in the evenings after exploring Colorado all day

This was a fabulous place! Beautiful surroundings, friendly neighbors. Love the closed front porch/mud room! Windows opened, good light, comfortable seating , slippers and pet towels available. The deck off the kitchen was equally nice, unfortunately their was slog of rain, some hail and a lot of fog and 40degree temperatures in the end of May..so our time there was limited! Comfortable bed, loved the skylight over the bed and did have one night when the moon and stars were brilliant. Definitely recommend and good to return next time I visit family in Colorado Springs!

Very cool and cozy cabin. I’d definitely come back, and wish we’d have had more time to spend in it.

Close enough to walk downtown, but still feels very private on back deck next to the creek. We were able to leave our car parked for free at the cabin while walking to eat and shop. Only needed to drive when out sightseeing.

first time finding it is a little tricky but a breeze after that and the location is centrally located to nearby towns full of restaurants and shopping

This a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. There's privacy but it's also not too far from local attractions and restaurants. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We felt right at home and had amazing views of the mountains. There was even a nice area for my dog. The host communicated well and was very responsive when we had questions. We definitely hope to stay again.

Very cute place to stay in Manitou Springs! Has everything you need. Very clean. The bathroom is pretty small and would probably be a challenge if more than 2 people were staying there.

The Chipita Cabin was exactly as described and then some! The location is perfect, with lots of attractions and restaurants close by. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely recommend to all of our friends, and plan to return to the cabin again.

Located only a couple miles outside Woodland Park and with awesome views of Pikes Peak, this house was perfectly situated for exploring and enjoying the area. The house is well-appointed and larger than we expected, and the hot tub was a nice bonus in the cool evenings. Lots of deer and birds visit the property. The kitchen was well-stocked, allowing us to make a couple meals during our time there. Overall, we had a great time in the house!

Super convenient location in a peaceful neighborhood with wildlife viewing available right there in the yard. Easy communication even with my short notice plans Janet made it happen. VERY clean and comfy home and I would absolutely stay there again sometime.

Everything was just as described. Our kids loved exploring the property even though it rained every night. The space was perfect for our family. There were lots of games to play and toys and books for the kids in the loft. Everything was really clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was close to everything that we wanted to do. We really enjoyed our time there and would book it if we ever come that way again.

The host, Erin, provided detailed checkin/checkout instructions and responded quickly to messages. Also, the location was easy to find and close to restaurants, the lake, and park. The home itself was cozy and inviting. Overall, we had a great stay!

What really won us over was the balance of seclusion and convenience: you’re surrounded by nature, yet it’s only a short drive to town for restaurants, groceries, and a little exploring. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants tranquility without sacrificing access to nearby attractions!
