Pet-friendly holiday rentals in El Sobrante

This space is an appartment, not a house. There are other tenants in the building. It was perfect for what we needed. There is a great view of the bay. The parking is difficult if you have a vehicle, but i imagine this is the case wherever you are in the city. The hosts are lovely and incredibly helpful. The location of the apartment seemed safe and we didn't have any issues.

We stayed in the upstairs unit which was bright & comfortably furnished. There is a cute outdoor space behind the house which is shared by guests in both units.

Awesome space in a very versatile area. Wish I could have stayed longer because it was a great base for all the things I was looking to do in the area. Will stay again.

Sunny Oasis is an accurate description! This home is very comfortable and nicely appointed in the heart of Berkeley.

Overall, I had a great stay at the cottage! In a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood (great for walking your dog). The cottage itself was spacious - loved the mini-split AC units and the small enclosed front yard. Highly recommend staying here while in the bay!

We loved staying at Casa Victoria. The home was beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. We definitely recommend staying here.

Naomi's place was great! They were very responsive and the space was beautiful and fit all 6 of us nicely.

I had a wonderful stay at Tracy's place - it was quiet, peaceful, and my girls (dogs) and I had a wonderful time at this home. We loved the yard and even enjoyed a day grilling in the yard with lovely views of the bay and city lights. While I did not need all of the space that was provided, it would be exceptional for two couples or a famility with children! I would certainly recommend staying at Tracy's for anyone wishing to visit Berkeley and I will certainly try to schedule another visit at this home for my next Berkely trip.

Our stay at Lori and Mike’s place was absolutely fantastic, and Lori truly made it unforgettable. While Mike was away on a trip, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a comfortable, personalized experience. She checked in with us just enough to make sure we were all set and shared amazing local tips that really made our trip extra special. Her kindness, attention to detail, and friendly energy made all the difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Thank you so much, Lori—you’re truly one of a kind!

Our family had the most incredible weekend at Gina's beautiful home! First of all, a HEATED POOL makes all the difference, huge plus! We loved spending time in the backyard with so many beautiful outdoor areas to hangout with family, including your own private dock with a kayak! We were a little bummed the outdoor firepit wasn't working because we loved being outside so much but maybe next time. We hope to come back soon! We loved the big wooden table and big cozy couch for all 8 of us to enjoy time eating meals and playing games together! It was super convenient to have the grocery store just 6 minutes down the road as well. She was also extremely accommodating which made the stay even better!

A group of lifelong friends and I meet once a year for a long weekend to catch up, decompress, and spend time together. We chose San Francisco this year and after hunting on AirBnB we stumbled across this estate on JAR Farms. The host Nikki was proactive, helpful, and responsive. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to thru the gate into a lush oasis. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice. We arrived at the guest house to a welcome gift of wine, local honey, and snacks. We were a group of 6 adults and the guest house was cozy yet a perfect size for a reunion of friends. We were given a tour of the property showing us the boat house/beach, grand staircase to the bay overlook, the pool house (pool and hot tub), gardens, bee hives, and the many trails on the property. The mornings we hiked Monahan Trail at the adjacent Old St. Hillary's Preserve. In the afternoons we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice bbq dinner. Perfect weekend! HIGHLY recomended. Will be returning!

The Hidden Gem is what it truly is…..a hidden gem! So beautifully decorated and furnished and so private. You are surrounded by lush greenery and complete quiet except for the birds and the rooster. What you saw on line in pictures is exactly what you got. We all enjoyed every minute. Thank you again for helping to make our niece’s graduation event so memorable. Nancy was great in her responsiveness. Would highly recommend.

Melodie is the perfect host. She is genuinely concerned with the comfort, hospitality, communication and needs of her guests. Her description of the Casita in The Trees matched the pictures on the website and fulfilled our needs for relaxation and quiet at the end of our busy days. I looked for an Airbnb that would offer accessibility for temporary mobility issues. The accessibility and helpfulness of Melodie made our stay so much easier. I realized on our drive back to WA State that I left a piece of jewelry in the bedroom. I immediately contacted Melodie and her son retrieved it. Melodie was quick to respond and let me know she would mail it in a few days. Also, asked, if I would need extra insurance. The Bon Air Center down the hill and a few miles from the Airbnb provides every type of retail and dining need nearby. Grocery store, bakeries, restaurants, retail, etc., and outdoor seating provides the perfect place for whatever suits your needs. Warm regards, Linda and John

The hotel is very clean and looks exactly like the picture and the beddings are very comfortable. The surroundings are very safe.

Jeff is always so responsive and makes one feel at home. The unit is very well equipped, with really pretty decorative accents and comfortable. Loads of room to cook, sit at a dining table or counter, and there is a pool shared with one other unit. I had been here before and was happy to return again!

I found Jenni's home when I was looking for something adequate for 5 adults. We slept very comfortably in the three bedrooms and having two full bathrooms was great. The kitchen is well equipped and we prepared some of our meals there. The grill, pool, and patio space was an extra bonus for us which we enjoyed lots. So fun. Her home is full of light, creatively decorated and a fun space to be in. Large dining room table with comfortable chairs for six. Also lots of comfy patio furniture and umbrellas for enjoying outside time. Would love to go back sometime.

This is our 3rd year staying at one of the hosts locations and it once again did not disappoint. The downstairs unit is super cute and was super homey. Raina is always super flexible with check in when she is able to and makes the stay even better. It’s close to Napa which was perfect for why we were here. Once again loved staying here.

Lindi was a very friendly and available host. She even gave me a bunch of lemons to take to my daughter who lives nearby. The place had everything I needed. It is very convenient to public transportation. I would stay there again.

This cottage is a little gem in a desirable part of the city. The upstairs sleeping loft is spacious and well laid out with plenty of closet and drawer space. We loved the thoughtful touches like high-quality coffee, a bottle of wine, extra sheets and towels, and attractive decor and books. Host Johnny was very responsive to our questions about the heating unit and fixed it right away. Not a problem for the physically agile, but guests should be aware that the outdoor side entrance is maybe 24 inches wide, and that the steep loft stairs are necessary to navigate to use the bathroom. Overall, a wonderful stay with a kind and thoughtful host!

Davis’s place was perfect for a short get away. It is relatively spacious and had all the things we needed in it. Whenever I had a question, Daiva was super responsive. I think it’s a great place for a couple, I stayed with my daughter and our dog. Close to the wildcat canyon park which is an added bonus. Thanks for hosting us!

Very delightful people Brenda and Luis, loved all the plants and flowers and the privacy! Home is so comfortable, great beds, clean , plenty of towels and blankets, if we come to that area again! That’s where we’d choose to stay!!!

Yusef and Selina were amazing people. They accommodated me (a traveling private chef) and my dog Ladybird so I could do a job up in Napa. I had wonderful conversations with them both AND they were animal lovers and took care of my dog while I was out for work. It was such a pleasure meeting them both and the fact they helped with my dog puts them in a Leauge of their own as far as hosts go. These are great human beings and if you get the opportunity to talk to them take it.

We loved staying here! First, the place was extremely comfortable, spacious, and beautiful. It had everything we could need for a longer stay and felt like our own space due to the privacy and easy access with coming and going. The location was great. I was commuting regularly and enjoyed being just a few minutes walk away from BART. We were also near some great bike rides. Sonha and her husband were exceptional hosts, always ensuring we had what we needed, plus more. I felt like we could easily get in touch with them whenever. We felt particularly lucky with how welcoming they were, even inviting my husband on a bike ride after discovering that was one of his interests. I feel like Sonha’s communication was perfect and always at the same level we brought. Overall, this was one of my best Airbnb experiences and Sonha’s place is definitely our first pick next time we’re back!

Very comfortable place with lots of space, nice to stay, at times you could hear dogs crying, but nothing that affected you, the internet speed is not fast but it is normal for certain tasks, Claudia was very kind to provide us with what we needed, without a doubt a highly recommended place, the area is quiet.
