My place is a historic limestone building with a loft, located on my family farm. One mile away from the interstate and 6 miles north of Ellsworth, you’ll love its convenience as much as its coziness, history, and quaint charm. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers that are looking for a unique experience in the country that isn't too far off the beaten path. This is a private building near the main farmhouse with its own living space, kitchenette, bathroom, and loft bedroom (queen).

Abilene Lake Cabin, Outside of Town

Update: Due to drought over the past several months, our lake is experiencing extremely low water level. It’s still a great little place to stay, but we do not have a full lake at this time! Sleep well on the murphy bed w/queen memory foam mattress. Also a queen sofa sleeper. Kitchen w/essentials, Keurig, coffee, bottled water, snacks. Bring your groceries to store in the fridge during your stay. Stove/micro. Towels, shampoo, soap, hairdryer. Iron. RokuTV plus 11more channels. WiFi. Clean&tidy!

We are in a rural setting with your host approximately 100 yards away. There are plenty of trees and bushes between the two houses so your privacy is assured. The next nearest neighbor one mile away and out of sight. Be advised you will have to travel on 2 miles of gravel roads. Our place can be your “Country Home Away from Home”.

Gaze at the stars on the stargazing platform and walk to the natural pond 10 mins across the property. 50 amp RV spots with water are also available if you have one along.

Pick up after pets with bags provided ***No smoking indoors.
