This beautiful recently completed guest cottage is set within the secure grounds of the main house in a rural setting near the villages of Willerby, located just off the main route between the Humber Bridge and the historic town of Beverley and only 15 mins from the City of Kingston Upon Hull. Ideally placed for country walks or for exploring these historic centres. We are only 2 mins away from all amenities i.e. Restaurants, Pubs, cafes, supermarkets or for hospitals visits and business trips.

Village Escape

Our cosy little house is in the centre of the village of Messingham. There’s lots of pubs and eateries within walking distance. We have an Indian, Thai, Italian & dog friendly pubs with live music, hairdressers, beauty salons, a bakery & food shops. A short drive away there’s a Nature reserve, play barn, golf, tennis, fishing & a little zoo as well as Blyton ice cream & racetrack. A little stream with ducks is in the next village. We welcome families, couples, business people & contractor’s.

Welcome to Priests Abode. Built in the 1600s as part of Papist Hall, the newly renovated cottage offers a delightful mix of period features and modern amenities finished to a high standard. The enclosed gardens feature relaxing seating areas, impressive stonework arches, a BBQ, and a delightful range of planting featuring mature trees and vibrant flowers. Woldview retreat is on the edge of the small village of Spridlington, and has open plan living, dining and sleeping, with bifold doors opening out on to a balcony showcasing the scenic views of rural Lincolnshire. These can also be enjoyed from the hot tub. Maximum 2 Adults. No infants or children. No pets.

Market Rasen racecourse is 10 minutes away. It would suit couples, solo adventurers and business travellers. A selection of breakfast choices will be left in the studio for you to help yourselves to what you like when it suits you.

Holly Cottage, which is situated in the centre of the lovely village of North Ferriby, nearly opposite the charming and historic parish church, is a warm and inviting 2-bed terraced cottage. It is within 5-minutes walk from the Railway Station, the village pub, an Indian restaurant, pizza takeaway and large Co-op. And, it is just 2-minutes walk from the start of the Riverside Walkway (see photos).
