Cottage holiday rentals in Ely

Thanks to Max for letting us use this lovely space. Myself and my partner booked in to get away for a few days and this place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, cosy and tucked away but still able to access all of the activities we planned in Norfolk. The house was spotless clean and you can tell Max has put a lot of thought into the amenities provided (even down to the ice lollies in the freezer!) The hot tub was a perfect touch to relax in the garden with some music on and some bubbles. The stay was amazing. Thank You!

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

The Gig House was fantastic. Beautifully presented and exactly as described. Situated within beautifully maintained grounds, and just a few seconds stroll to the spa, it was absolutely perfect for our girly getaway! Tan and Hannah’s communication was excellent and they were very helpful. Plus the spa was great, friendly staff, great treatments and lovely outdoor jacuzzi pool with sun loungers to relax and lap up the sunshine. Who could ask for more!

Highly recommend for a peaceful break. Watching the stars in the hot tub with an owl flying over was particularly magical.

The Little Owl is our favourite Air B&B find so far. The property was absolutely beautiful and unique. The garden area was stunning, not to mention the incredible views! Hayley was a lovely host, thank you for having us!

Had a relaxing couple of nights at the cottage. The cottage is beautiful and the hot tub is a real bonus. Location was great, felt so peaceful and friendly. Would love to return. John kept me well posted with information before and during our arrival which was so helpful. Had everything we needed that we didn’t even need to bother John.

My family and I had a lovely couple of days staying in the cottage. The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the pool was great. It was lovely exploring the beautiful grounds. Also, Donna was very welcoming and helpful. She was very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. We had a relaxing and enjoyable couple of days.

We loved stay at Pea Cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The setting was picturesque and relaxing, you can tell that a lot of effort has gone into making this stay memorable. Andrew has been great and provided us with plenty of recommendations. We would love to stay again, thank you so much!

A lovely stay with friends and dogs in a quiet and peaceful holiday park. listing was as described and Sara was very helpful and responsive when we messaged. Would recommend.

Lovely cottage, bang in the middle of town, lotsa local walks and nice delis/pubs/shops. Downsides? None. We’ll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Fiona was a perfect host making herself readily available but at the same time recognising our space and privacy. Excellent to communicate with. The cottage is exactly as seen in the pictures and description. Nothing to fault. Main positives: the delightful patio area, how calm and peaceful it was. Spotlessly clean throughout and so many little thoughtful touches from a host who has clearly put time and effort into making your stay the best they can. We ate at both the Rose and Crown where food is excellent (tapas night) and the Queen Victoria which serves good honest pub grub and does it well. Would be very pleased to get the chance of a return visit.

This is a very beautiful part of a very special home with fabulous garden to gaze enviously at! Caroline is so friendly and provides extras for an easy stay -toiletries , provisions, flapjacks but a few . Very welcoming to us both and our dog Bentley who enjoyed his stay enormously - along with the two resident fogs Purdey and Bunty . We loved every minute - thank you Caroline and Andrew

We have been using Airbnb for many years and this is definitely the best experience of being hosted we have had for YEARS. Carter's Yard embodies the spirit of what staying in a b&b in England really means - with the privacy of enjoying the property to yourselves. We felt hosted! Butter and milk in the kitchen. Plenty of cleaning items and dishwasher tablets. A welcome basket of breakfast items. Beautiful linen on the extremely comfortable beds. A lovely lounge with supplies for the log burner. Flannels and plenty of towels in the bathroom... Everything was so intentional and thought through. We would love to stay here again, it is so peaceful, so clean and so very welcoming. 11/10 for the cottage and 12/10 to Rebecca and her immaculate hostess vibes. Worth every - extremely reasonable - penny!!

A wonderful stay at Marc’s place in Grafham. It’s a great location with local amenities and lovely places to walk. The lodge is surrounded by trees and really peaceful. We hope to return!

A perfect stay for 4 of us and our dog. Proximity to the city and the park & ride (we were staying to visit our oldest daughter at the uni) was brilliant, whilst at the same time being a really lovely, rural, village. Also enjoyed being a few hundred metres from the Blue Lion pub.

This was an idyllic stay. The location, the home the photos are exactly as it is, beautifully decorated with great comfort and thoughtful personal touches to make you feel most welcome. The hosts Rebecca and Joe. were most accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

The Acorn was a wonderful place to stay. Wildlife nearby with many lovely nature walks. But shops were also nearly which was convenient. The Acorn is a fabulous little cottage with all that you need - Lionel and Helen were the best hosts always attentive. After leaving I forgot the firestick remote and they sent it back the next day! We will definitely come again.

I can only echo previous reviews - wagtail cottage is an absolute gem! We were very lucky with the weather and made the most of the garden - spending hours looking out for the ducklings, fish, swan and kingfisher. The wifi is strong enough to work remotely and I even managed to join a video call from the garden! The description says that the garden is a bit offset from the house but it is really just a few meters away, nothing more. And if the weather gets a bit cold you can still enjoy looking out to the river from the summer house. I really hope we get to visit again!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Nice touch to get a short welcome from Joseph at the start. A cottage with lots of character in a super-tranquil location. Everything was 'just right' and thoughtfully presented. I especially enjoyed watching nature from the small conservatory in the early mornings with a coffee. If you want peace and quiet (which I did!) this is for you! I'll be back at some point.

We loved staying at The Old Dairy for our mini moon with our dog. The weather was glorious (slightly too hot!) and it made the surroundings even more beautiful! The outside area was perfect to relax in and we used the BBQ a few times. It was lovely knowing our dog was completely safe and secure and he loved playing in the garden. The walk to the local pub was easy and took around 20mins, it was friendly with a great selection of drinks. We did the park & ride based on Mitzi’s recommendation to get into Cambridge which was very simple and quick. The recommendations left for us were really helpful. The place had everything we needed and the pictures don’t do it justice, we would love to visit again and explore more of the local walks in cooler weather. It was exactly what we needed to relax.

A lovely little Annex withing beautiful grounds. Heidi guided us in and gave us great information but also took the time to say hello to our 4 year old and learn his name. Heidi recommended the local pub where the food and atmosphere was nice, and it was walkable! We visited the shop in the next town which was 5 mins away by car, but spend the whole of our saturday at a wedding nearby otherwise would of explored the area more. The Annex is so lovely, very spacious and have everything you may need for a short or long stay. Thanks Heidi!

Fantastic and handy place - just what we needed. The photos don't really do it justice! Walkable to most things (and needs) in Ely, the co-op is a couple of minutes away and we could have had a whole week just exploring around on foot. Great outdoor space too.

Lovely stay at the Bull Pen. The accommodation is great and in beautiful surroundings. Well equipped rooms with fans in each room which helped with the recent hot weather! Uber is possible but we actually used Panther taxis which you can book through the Veezu app. Took us into central cambridge in 20 minutes. Sally is a great host and well recommended. Thank you!
