The garden casita was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. We had everything necessary for a month stay.. The hosts were very responsive and their parents who live in the main house were more than kind and welcoming, they even brought our amazon packages to the casita door. We could not have asked for a more comfortable and relaxing stay!

I stayed for a full week, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as a water filter pitcher in the fridge, oil and vinegar in the cabinet, magnification mirror in the bathroom, throw blankets on the couch, and more. It was easy to get in and out of the unit, and I was surprised at how quiet it was on the street. I would stay here again for sure!

This was my second time staying at Karen's place and it was an absolute dream. Karen's place has all you need to live like a local in Oakland. The location was super convenient, and everything I could need was on hand. I can't recommend Karen's place enough, it's a wonderful home base.

One of the best airbnb's I've stayed in! The apartment is sparkling clean and intentionally designed, having everything you need. Aaron was a very responsive and helpful host. The street is very quiet and has easy parking. There is some noise of footsteps above, but no voices or other sounds. This didn't bother me as I had a similar sleeping schedule to the family. I stayed here for 10 days and absolutely would come back! 100% recommend staying here.

Great clean and modern place. Excellent location and communication, entry, etc. There is quite a bit of street noise so ear plugs are a must, but it might not bother most people. I'm very sensitive.

Cozy and peaceful stay! The space was clean and quiet, with a lovely book collection. Ben and Liz communicated clearly and were great hosts throughout. Would definitely stay again!

Christie’s place is clean, cozy, and well located. Close to the BART station and to a grocery store. It has a nice garden with bamboos and the apartment gets plenty of sun light. Christie is very kind and communicative. Please note that this apartment is in a townhouse and there are other people living in the same building. Overall great stay!

I loved my stay at Cali’s place! The location, home, and amenities were perfect for my trip and needs. The apartment was tastefully decorated and warm, it made me want to stay in. Coffee shops and restaurants were walkable and it was a 15 minute drive to UC Berkeley and 25 minute drive to SF. Very happy with my stay and it will be my go-to spot should I return to the Bay Area.

Noah’s place met our needs. Importantly the beds in the bedrooms were comfortable for a week long stay. Apartment was on main floor, did not have to lug suitcases up the stairs. Proximity to a grocery store down the hill for b’fast items & fruits was nice. Easy connect to and from Berkeley as we were there for our daughter’s graduation. Walking distance to restaurants in Peidmont & downtown Oakland. Quick drive to BART station. Parking was a challenge but always found a spot a lane or two over.

Sunny’s place was a clean, light filled studio loft in the sky. The bed was comfy, the bathroom spacious and spotless and French doors leading out to the deck made an already large studio apartment feel even more generous. The location was perfect for exploring north Berkeley. Very easy walking distance to most anything you might want or need. Thank you Sunny for your clear communication and a lovley stay.

Tiendres was an excellent host, always friendly and helpful both leading up and during the stay. The place was also in immaculate condition, with amenities far exceeding my expectations!

Needed a place to stay in town to avoid commuting back and forth from San Francisco for a few days. Cozy clean and comfortable home. Will definitely be staying here again when needed. Thank you!

Danny was a great host. Very responsive super friendly and welcoming. He was very attentive and accommodating to our particular needs and situation. Our flight arrived early in the day way before check in and he went out of his way to let us drop off our bags hours before check in time. The place was spotless and the bed and couch are super comfortable some of the best I've been in. We appreciated that the house had ac/fan in the living room and bedroom which not only kept the temperature comfortable but helped a lot with the stuffyness you can get sometimes while you are gone all day. The apartment itself is very spacious the tv was big and the Internet was fast, speed test clocked in at 359gb/sec which is plenty. If you have a car there is a space in the property for you to park which is very convenient. However, if you want to bus and Bart, the bust stop is literally down the road, about a 3-5 min walk to the main road on 35th. I couldn't be happier with my stay and host!

Beautiful apartment, recently renovated. Clean and sunny. Loved the separation between bedroom and living room. Will definitely stay there again!

Yeshi's home is a museum of colorful artwork from her travels around the world. Wonderful to be lulled to sleep by the ocean waves.

I am so grateful for my stay in Dylan And Alex's place! It was clean, safe, quiet, easy to check in, and easy to check out. I was able to walk everywhere - grocery, restaurants, and all types of stores within walking distance. Dylan and Alex are so friendly and proactive to be helpful. The location and space was perfect for our needs! Clean, and larger than we expected from the photos. We especially enjoyed the hot tub/gazebo and the balcony.

I loved Albina's place. It was so perfect for what we were looking for. It was cute, easy to find, easy parking and just so lovely. The highlight was the view. The bedroom window looked out to the city and the ocean. We never even turned the TV on since the view from the bed was just spectacular. We literally just watched the ocean and boats going by as the sunset before our eyes. The moon then came out and we went to bed just staring out at the sky. I hope to be able to stay here again. It was such a magical retreat.

Shea’s place was beautiful and spacious for our family of 5. Check in was easy and Shea was very responsive to all my questions about the home and neighborhood. We took full advantage of the backyard with hot tub and ping pong when we needed a break from sightseeing. There was a fair amount of noise from neighbors and the street in the front of the house. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved everything about Eurydice's space. So elegant in its simplicity, and clearly prioritizing coziness and livability. She's thought of so many touches that made it all the more welcoming: extra throws and blankets, a fan and heater in the closet in case you need a temperature adjustment, a night light in the bathroom, super comfy seating and bed. All this set in a gorgeous garden that's very convenient to public transportation and very walkable to boot. On top of all that, Eurydice was a great host: very responsive, warm, and welcoming, even though I never ran into her while we were there. This place really felt like home away from home, and the most difficult part was getting myself to leave! :)

This was a gem of an airbnb! The space is beautifully put together, very clean and comfortable - I almost didn't want to leave it! The location can't be beat - just steps away from Castro and a short walk over to Dolores Park/mission. Cory was extremely pleasant to communicate with, super helpful and eager to be a resource, and very proactive in addressing a next door neighbor's construction mess. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to any future guests!

I had a truly lovely and seamless stay at this Airbnb. My family and I stayed here for 8 nights while celebrating my graduation from UC Berkeley, and it was the perfect home base. The check-in process was smooth and convenient, everything was handled through an app that also gave us access to the building’s many amenities. The apartment itself was spotless and had clearly been cleaned right before our arrival. I barely had to contact the host because everything was so well-prepared, but when I did, she was responsive, kind, and understanding. The location is ideal, right in the heart of downtown Oakland. It's just a short walk to the BART station, making it easy to get anywhere in the Bay Area, and the AC Transit bus stop is only two streets away. Being in the city center also made us feel safe and connected to everything we needed. If you're looking for a convenient, clean, and comfortable place to stay in Oakland, I highly recommend this Airbnb!
