Having the use of a boat was awesome, and the lake was great for fishing. Very good sound proofing between the duplexes. Never heard the neighbors once!

The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. WINTER GUESTS, please note...DON'T come down the driveway without PROPER WINTER tires! Leave your car at the turnaround and I'll gladly shuttle you and your gear.

Teletha’s home was set back in the woods away from the busy road. She gave us access to her fire pit where we roasted marshmallows. The guest access to her home was private and easily accessible. There was plenty of room for two adults and three older children. Her place was a short driving distance from the sand dunes and other local attractions. I would 100% recommend Teletha and her home for anyone looking to stay in upper Michigan. She was a wonderful hostess and her place was perfect!

My boyfriend and I stayed with Bill and Val during our trip from Columbus to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Val and were given local recommendations for restaurants. Later that night, we were invited to go fishing on their boat (so kind of them!). The space was clean, had everything we needed, and was the perfect spot for our little getaway. We would highly recommended their accommodations and will definitely book with them in the future! Thanks!

Irina‘s house and Empire Michigan were an absolute dream! I booked this house for an extended girls weekend and it absolutely did not disappoint. Irina was responsive and very helpful with giving us local recommendations that we took full advantage of. It is a short drive to sleeping Bear Dunes national Lakeshore and I highly recommend the scenic drive in the park! we enjoyed walking through town to all the shops. We spent a lot of time in Glen Arbor as well walking through the shops and just enjoying being outside. Lots of food options in Glen Arbor! We tried Tiffany’s, shipwreck Café, rocks landing for a little bit nicer dinner setting, cherry Republic, and bear paw pizza. All wonderful places with good vibes! The house was super cozy, clean, with comfortable beds and pillows! I would love to come back with my family.

Empire Beach House - Renovated. Lake Michigan.

Empire Beach House was amazing! The location was convenient and easy to find. It’s next to the public beach and boat launch, but noise and traffic one would expect were a non-issue—just low key, friendly locals who respected the private beach and took great pride in the natural beauty of the area. The house itself is spotless, incredibly organized, very comfortable and beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and appliances. The views from the deck overlooking Lake Michigan and the Dunes to the North and South were jaw dropping. Spent more time there than anywhere else. We highly recommend the Empire Beach House for families and friend groups of 4-6 ppl. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Nice cottage and location. Access to lake was unclear, but after walking around we found it. If you plan to rock hunting in the area, good luck. I was disappointed. We had a great stay and were very pleased that fur babies are allowed, that is why we booked it.

This home exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and cozy at the same time! Empire was a great starting point for adventures both up and down the peninsula and we liked being able to walk to grab a pizza (Empire Village Inn) or a chocolate treat (Grocer's Daughter). Despite it being Memorial Day Weekend, Empire was peaceful. Ron and Inie were responsive, proactive and kind from the moment we booked. Thank you!
