Super friendly helpful hosts with a great cottage with everything you need for your stay. Comfy bed. Top notch power shower. Nice coffee machine. Cottage is edge of village with some fabulous views. Quiet and comfy accommodation. Walkable (5 minutes) friendly locals pub in village. Walkable (10 minutes) Spar supermarket and the lovely Kay’s Fish and Chip shop. Thanks Jim and Lyn. We will definitely return.

Wow, this is our second stay at Mark's hideaway and we cant recommend it enough! From the cleanliness,welcoming,cosy stay, to the locality of the hideaway, with fantastic,close ,beautiful beaches,gorgeous places to visit and yummy food and treats nearby; highly recommend Da Bara bakery,the local Chinese and Indian, aswell as there being a nearby Spar! Recommended local beaches and places to visit within 20 ish minutes drive: Fistral beach, Charlestown, Padstow, St Austell and St Ives a beautiful 40 minute drive away - more than worth it! There are a number of local, lovely walks too! The hideaway really is a truly wonderful place to stay, a cosy retreat at the end of a busy day, with everything you need and more! Higjly Recommended, even better we were able to charge our EV at a reasonable rate, and Mark allows dogs too, seriously this place couldn't be more perfect...Thank you to Mark and his family, we really appreciate your hospitality and we will absolutely be back!! 🥰🤗😘 Xx

Had a lovely December break here with our two adult daughters and small dog. We chose this for location as it was near to other family and the places we were visiting. Easy to navigate to. House was clean and beds very comfy. There were plenty of glasses, crockery and other utensils for our needs. Nice touches like hand soap, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets provided. Welcome bottle of wine which was much appreciated after our 6 hour journey! Local co op for essentials was a short walk away. We found the portable radiators and fan heaters adequate for our stay. Good location for local attractions and decent road network locally. Sarah was communicative and helpful regarding recycling collections. Overall, would recommend!
