The truth is that as soon as you get to the house, you are impressed by how well everything is designed. You are in a rural house where there is no lack of detail and I loved the mix of the old house and the modernity of the furniture... The room is beautiful, large and above all it is wonderful to have a bathroom at the foot of the bed! Everything was very clean and tidy. I loved the location, in the middle of the village.

I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

The place is wonderful, between mountains and perfect for disconnecting. The house is simply spectacular, you can tell that they have put your soul in that project. It is a luxury home surrounded by nature. Materials, appliances, decoration, etc, all of the very first quality and with very good taste. We are a family of 5 and have spent Christmas at Casa da Eira Velha. Gloria's reception was unique, we had a large basket with fruit, nuts, homemade jams and local honey as well as vegetables from her orchard waiting for us! Any questions we had Gloria resolved it in less than 30 minutes. The house is dreamy in a place to disconnect and rest!

This is our second time staying at Gonçalo's house, and we are delighted again. The house is impeccably clean, located in a quiet and relaxing environment, the outside is very nice. Gonçalo is friendly and welcoming. Everything is perfect.
