Smokey pines is the perfect getaway. It's private, secluded yet close to the towns and people we want to visit. It feels homey and comfortable and has all the amenities required. We'll definitely be back!

Chris and Phil are wonderful hosts. Communication is always excellent. We have enjoyed Windy Ridge so much we have been 4 times :). And booking number 5!! Go enjoy the beauty!! Chris provides every thing you will need. Highly recommend this little cozy spot with amazing views!!

We stayed for just one night, but it was exactly what we needed…a cute, cozy escape from reality. The camper was super clean, thoughtfully stocked with extra snacks (always a win!), and had a great collection of old DVDs that we loved watching. It was the kind of place where you could truly unwind without thinking about all the things you “should” be doing. We left feeling refreshed and grateful. Highly recommend for a peaceful, low key retreat!

Spent a peaceful weekend at the lake. We stayed in the smallest of the three units. It comfortably fit 2 people. I love to cook, and the kitchen was well stocked. Everything I needed was there, including a spray oil container, containers for leftovers, sharp knives, and even a pastry brush. All I needed was the food. I loved the large towels for the bathroom. Like I said, we stayed in the small house, it was perfect for two people. Our favorite part of the property was outside. We sat in the Adirondack chairs on the beach, watching the birds, listening to the waves lapping at the shore. Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter visited us, and enjoyed the playground. The location is close enough to the main road so you can access restaurants and shops, but far enough away to be peaceful. Brian was extremely responsive to every text sent. We are glad to have found this gem, and look forward to our next visit.
