We can absolutely recommend Susana's apartment. It exactly matches the photos. We are on the Costa every summer and unfortunately know the often lacked quality of the holiday apartments there. That's why we loved Susana. The apartment is in great condition, everything is clean, the bathrooms very good. The large living room is dreamy. You can tell that this is a home of Susana. Nothing is missing here. Nearby are small supermarkets, cafes, bakeries, restaurant, restaurant, etc. The beach is also within walking distance. We mostly went through the park to go there because our daughter was able to play in the playgrounds. The contact with Susana was great, she is very friendly, fast and easily accessible. If I could give it 6-Stars, I would. Seriously, this is a fantastic property with oodles of history and unimaginably unique accoutrements. Plus, the breakfast selections were local and high quality. We really can’t say enough about the time João spent to orient us, inform us about his ancestral home, and attentively meet our every need. We loved the bedroom, bathroom, breakfast, location and flexibility. Kudos. Now I wish we had booked a few more nights!

Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood in Bairro Alto. Comfortable accommodation for our family of 7, with everyone finding their own space. Well stocked kitchen which made staying in some evenings very easy. However, the area has many terrific cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Walked in to Senhora do Fado on our first evening and had a lovely meal with heartful Fado music. Do pay attention to the travel instructions—only taxis can take guests to the front door as it is a private neighborhood. Otherwise it’s a very steep climb up the street. Lisbon was a treat and Luis & Rita made our visit very memorable.

Such a nice stay. The hosts at reception were so helpful about anything. Warm, friendly, kind. Mine was a short trip and location was perfect for me. Was able to walk everywhere.

Ideally located and beautiful grounds. I fortunately there was a bad storm and the Pena palace, Moorish castle both closed. But if they were open, the house was within walking distance to both. The Regaleira was open and also walking distance. Parking easy at the house. Eggs made to order at breakfast along with pastries.

Jorge is an outstanding host! He sorted everything for us, gave us great recommendations and was so helpful with everything. I would highly recommend his place to anyone!

In the last three years of travel, this has been my favorite place. The setup is perfect, pool is great, beautiful scenery, town is friendly and helpful, good local food, and excellent room and facilities.

We highly recommend this house. We spent 7 very peaceful days there. You will find a lot of calm there… All around the house there are fruits and vegetables that you can pick (they are excellent). As for the host, it's very nice, listening, etc. Finally, you can go there!

A once-in-a-lifetime experience.

andreissa’s place was absolutely perfect! super close to the bus and metro station and the room itself was incredibly spacious and cozy. would love to come back next time I’m in Lisbon!

Me and my son had booked one of threexrooms available in Joao’s house. Joao was extremely supportive and helpful as a host! The weather was unusually cold for Portugal, but Joao was not to blame for that😂 Strong recommendation if you want to go to the Aroeira gold courses or the beach.

We spent a lovely weekend in the house which is big enough to share with family or friends. We loved everything though the house is not super modern but rather traditional filled small meaningful details created by the owners. The view is amazing and we loved grill zone and patio full of sun.

This is very cozy and private place. This place is hosted by very friendly family, who are renovating Portuguese house and garden where you could hear birds. Place is very green and quiet. I’d recommend it anyone who is looking for enjoyment of peace and nature. Also host is very responsive and I felt like I’m part of their family. Thank you for this experience!

Very cozy, beautiful place to stay in Sintra. Breakfasts are just right for the morning. Host is very welcoming, answered to all of our questions quickly and helped when we needed

We had a great time. We were five adults in this very spacious house. What we really appreciated was that the linen and towels were brand new, as well as the mattresses and all the dishes in the kitchen. It felt like we were the first family to stay. The area is very quiet and close to the beaches where the boys have surfed. We loved everything and it was a beautiful vacation. Thank you Fernando
