Beatrice is extremely nice host. The property is so good and spacious. It’s very clean and cozy. It has all the amenities that you would need for perfect vacation. We had full privacy there with no restrictions on entry or exit . It’s quite easy to reach there from thun or spiez railway station. We would definitely love to stay here if we ever come to Switzerland again.

The Wiesenzimmer is in a beautiful location in the middle of nature. Just the thing for a getaway. The room, kitchen and bathroom are lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need.

There is no way to describe how much we enjoyed staying at Liliana’s house! The house itself is beautiful and full of Swiss character, the location is everything you picture when you think of a Swiss mountain chalet, and the views surrounding the house are heavenly. The main purpose of our visit to Switzerland was to see Lauterbrunnen and even though the house is about a 45 minute drive from that area, the price we paid for the house combined with the quiet and peaceful location are well worth a bit of a drive rather than staying in an overpriced hotel closer to or in the Interlaken/Lauterbrunnen area. But the best part of our stay was definitely Liliana and her husband. They were friendly, accommodating, and so helpful. My simplest request for recommendations of things to see and do in the area were met with an entire travel guide worth of web site links, references, and suggestions. They even loaned us their umbrellas when they noticed rain in the forecast! VERY highly recommended!

Alain's hosting deserves more than 5 starts. I would give a 7stars !! one more star for Alain's father and another for Alain's neighbour. Our rental car had a slight glitch, and Alain's neighbour helped us to contact our car rental company and she and husband were friendly and helpful to share their local knowledge with us. We feel so welcomed and at home at Alain's place!! Alain's dad is beyond words in terms of helpfulness. He even took the trouble to escort us in our car all the way to the garage in Thun. He drove his car thoughtfully and at safe speed so that our car could follow behind and in case our car breaks down along the way!! Our big hugs go out to him!! and Alain's very very responsive and helpful. if you are in the Interlaken area of and driving, you have to stay in Alain's place!! we explored Grinderwald, Lauterbrunnen and Thun!! and got those going to Murren & Wengen, it is accessible for day trips. Alain's place is also a good halfway for those enrounte to Zermatt.

Our stay in Thun, Switzerland, was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our wonderful host, Andrea. Her home was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and nestled in a charming neighborhood that offered stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Andrea’s warmth and hospitality truly set her apart; she was always available to offer local tips and ensure we had everything we needed. We felt like we were staying with a friend. This is the only place I’ll stay whenever I’m in Switzerland again. She truly made our trip even more special and memorable!

My husband, granddaughter and I stayed for 3 nights. We all wish it had been longer. We loved it! Great things to note are: Amazing shower pressure, and it immediately warms up. A really good-sized fridge with a freezer, so you can bring home ice cream from the nearby COOP grocery store. Lovely dishwasher, espresso maker, and drip coffee maker. Fully stocked kitchen. Convenient washing machine in the huge bathroom. I think the bathroom was my favorite bathroom of any Airbnb I've stayed at. Views views views! A super fun activity was taking the Niesen Funicular (Niesenbahn) up to the tippy top of the nearby mountain peak. It was only a few minutes from Martin's chalet. We could watch the funicular go up and down the mountain from one of the enclosed porches. When you get to the very top, there is a 360 degree vista, plus a restaurant with plenty of choices for the whole family. I highly recommend Martin's chalet and would stay again in a heartbeat!
