One reaches the houses in 10-15 minutes walk (and stairs) from the port depending on each person's pace. The distance from the sea is 2 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot. The distance from the central square of the village is 4 minutes on foot. It is 10 km from Nafplio, 3 km from Vivari, a nice fishing village with many fish taverns, 29 km from Ancient Mycenae and 29 km from the ancient theater of Epidaurus.

The Capetan Giorgio’s house is traditional Hydraian house in the center of the town from 1880. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood only 180m from the port without any stairs. Perfect for families.
