This brand new chalet is perched above the car free village of MURREN in the Bernese Oberland outside charming Interlaken. The apartment is the lower floor of the chalet with a spacious living/dining room and large windows that look across the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley with its 72 waterfalls to the North Face of the Eiger and the Jungfrau Massif. It offers the best view of any chalet rental in Murren. The Master Bedroom has a king bed and 2 walk in closets leading to the bathroom with shower and tub. On the edge of the living room is a queen wall bed, so the apartment comfortably sleeps 4 . The spiffy fully equipped modern kitchen has granite counter tops, dishwasher, 4 burner stove and oven. The fridge has a freezer. There is a bar with bar stools. The chalet has a wood burning stove and radiant floor heating. In the winter it is essentially ski in/ski out offering ski lockers and boot warmers.. You will love this space in the typical charming Swiss village of Murren. We're adjacent to a wildlife preserve, with daily sightings of graceful charming Chamois, so we cannot accommodate dogs or cats. If you want spacious, quiet, private, cozy and spectacular, this place is for you. World famous hiking and skiing are at the doorstep. And a Peace you've never before experienced. After you check in, you'll be welcomed by our wonderful Property Manager Liza who will help you fill out the Kurtaxe form. While we pay the Kurtaxe for you, you need the filled out form in order to pick up the "Kurkarte" ID card at the Sports Center. With this card you can enjoy the free indoor swimming pool/hot tub plus free ice-skating in the winter. You can also benefit from discounts at various stores.

In the summer, you can hike in these areas and much more. Zermatt, Leukerbad, Saas-Fee and the Lower Valais can be reached in 60 minutes by car. We stayed here during our family trip to Swiss and really enjoyed it. The apartment had a cozy, homely vibe and was in a great location—quiet, scenic, and well-connected. Although the host lives in the same building, it was a pity we didn’t get a chance to meet her. Still, everything was well-prepared, and the communication was smooth. Would definitely love to come back if we visit Swiss again!

Just beautiful, I recommend it. 👌 Accommodation beyond our expectations even in the description and photos; it's even better! If we're looking for a mini downside: the lighting on the terrace didn't work… but in winter in the evening at -5°C, we didn't want to linger too long either. The view from the apartment is breathtaking Looking forward to returning another season! We spent 4 nights in this charming little apartment (ideal for 2 people), very well located, close to the center, shops and the departure of the ski lifts leading to the Grimentz/Zinal ski area. An indoor parking space is available and we did not have to use the car for the duration of our stay. The materials used (wood paneling, tiles, etc.) and appliances are of high quality. Perfect spot for a few days of skiing in Grimentz.
