The charm of the bocages

19th century farmhouse 2.6 km from the center of Charlieu, a small medieval town bearing the label "one of the most beautiful detours in France", you will have a view of the Beaujolais mountains. House with beautiful studio/living space, flooded with light and with lovely views. A master bedroom with double bed and a double sofa bed in the main living area. A mezzanine area provides a further two single beds. A fully-equipped kitchen with a wood-burning stove. It also has a lovely terrace and gardens. Situated just 500m ( 10 minute walk) from the Auberge de Chassignolles with its amazing restaurant. There is an additional 70 m² yoga/dance studio that can be rented separately.

Profitez de divers chemins de balade à proximité et de sites touristiques d’exception (Puy-de-Dôme et sa chaîne des volcans d’Auvergne, Vichy reine des villes d’eaux, petits villages de caractères comme Châteldon ou Charroux...)

Need to go green? Come and recharge your batteries away from noise, lights and pollution in this 1812 retreat where greenery, old stones, old wood await you, but with all modern comforts. Wifi permanently cut off (except in emergencies) for less frequent disturbances, no TV but video projectors for movie buffs. Large kitchen, living room and shared bathroom. Rentable by the room (3 bedrooms and 3 different prices) or as a self-catering cottage (I live in another building).
