The apartment was clean,the host was helpful and kind, and the location is wonderful for your trip to Balat! The apartment had what we needed such as hair dryer, washing machine, refrigerator , AC wall units, tea pot, coffee pot for brewing a delicious cup of Turkish coffee which we had the pleasure of enjoying with the host who was a lovely ambassador for the people of Türkiye. There are lovely tea/pastry shops around, fresh juice, small convenience stores as well as some restaurants in the area. Do yourself a favor and ask the host for a little tour of the area. She’ll take you to the best tea shop with the best pastries. I definitely would come back and stay here.

Great location, easy access to main wort seing places. Functional accomodation, a lot of space and a great view. Lovely owner, easy communication and always helpful.

We had a great stay! The location in Balat is very nice — full of charm and character. All major sightseeing spots in Istanbul are easily reachable within about 20 minutes by tram. The apartment is beautifully renovated and feels very safe, especially with a police station nearby. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and taking in the lovely Istanbul weather. Highly recommend!

The place exactly matched the description in the beautiful neighborhood of Balat. Walkable distance to restaurants and cafes. Lots of colorful houses and shopping stores. Merve met us to hand the keys, provided us with local recommendations. Very responsive and helpful. Thank you Najwa for opening your home to us. We loved Istanbul 🙏🏻🇹🇷.

My partner and I had a very good stay at this flat! The place is well-equipped with plenty of amenities—there's a lovely swimming pool, a gym, and even shops within the complex. The internet connection was excellent, allowing us to easily work online, hold meetings, and handle downloads and uploads without any issues. We did encounter a couple of small issues. On our first night, we weren’t informed about the access card required to move around the complex, which left us a bit stuck until someone kindly helped us out. Additionally, there was a minor issue with the toilet, but the host was responsive and came over almost immediately to fix it, which we really appreciated. Despite these hiccups, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great place with fantastic amenities!

Der Check-in verlief reibungslos, und es gab jederzeit einen Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Herrn Refik içöz ein sehr respektvoller und hilfsbereiter Mensch, der immer zur Stelle war und uns mit seiner freundlichen Art unterstützt hat. Wenn wir in Istanbul sind, ist diese Unterkunft unsere erste Wahl. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Herrn Refik und das gesamte Team!

I had a great stay at Çiğdem’s place! The location is perfect—just steps from the tramway and close to many major attractions, restaurants, and shops. We are satisfied with our stay! Seval sent us all the instructions how to get to the apartment and about our stay. The apartment was clean, prepared with all necessary things to make us feel like at home. The apartment is located in quiet neighbourhood and there's a public transport 5 minutes walking from the place. It takes around 10-15 minutes to get to the city center by bus or tram. Also, you can find many shops, grocery stores and cafes around.

Das Apartment sah wirklich aus wie auf den Fotos und die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war wirklich gut. Ich würde gerne wieder hier übernachten bei einem nächsten Aufenthalt.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—soap, shampoo, body wash, towels, and even a cozy plaid blanket. It felt warm and welcoming, truly like a home away from home. Ayse was incredibly kind and helpful—honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever met someone this nice! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. She responded to all my questions almost instantly and always with such compassion. She even arranged an early check-in for us because we had an early flight, which we really appreciated. We absolutely loved the apartment, its vibe, and of course, its amazing host. One small note: since the house is located in a residential neighborhood, parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s manageable. Highly recommend—thank you again, Ayse!
