Built over 100 years ago as a chicken hatchery, this gorgeous little gem has been fully restored as a two-story guest cottage. Located in New Paltz just minutes off Exit 18 on I-87 in a very private, quiet, country setting. Only ten minutes from New Paltz Village & SUNY New Paltz and set back on a lightly traveled road for those long summer strolls. You don't even need a car to get here! It's just 12 minutes by taxi from the New Paltz Bus Station or bring your bike up and cycle everywhere!
“The cottage is perfect if you’re looking for a little R&R. It’s secluded enough to have peace and quiet but a short trip into New Paltz if you want to grab a bite to eat. My husband and I are about to have our third child so we spent most of the time lounging in bed watching TV and relaxing on the cute porch. If we ever get the opportunity to have a kid free weekend, we would def stay here again!”
Relax and enjoy your stay in a bright, modern cottage with windows overlooking the river and a wraparound deck. Whether you are looking to relax along the river, explore Hyde Park historic properties or discover the incredible natural beauty of the Hudson Valley, this cottage is an ideal escape.
“This little home on the water is perfect for a weekend getaway from the city. The grill worked great, the kitchen essentials were all there, the place was spotless. The view is unbelievable. The train runs right behind the house so it's very loud, but only for a few seconds per hour or so. We're definitely planning on coming back. Thanks for giving us an amazing escape from NYC (our first in three months!).”
Relax and unwind in a newly converted and light filled cottage in a tranquil country setting. The space features two floors with modern amenities and a full, and half bathroom, and is very family friendly. Situated close to Kingston, the hamlets of High Falls and Stone Ridge, yet just far enough out to feel you're away from city hustle and bustle. We’re only 90 minutes north of the city in picturesque hudson valley and are functioning close to environmentally 'off - grid' via solar panels.
“Jasmine’s place was absolutely perfect. Her communication was always helpful and friendly. The drive to Jasmine’s place was so scenic which only heightened the whole experience of arriving at the front steps of her place. The AirBnb was even better in person. It had everything we needed to cook meals and store food. This place had two very large bedrooms perfect for two couples or some friends. It was also immaculate! We loved being so closed to so many amazing trails including Onteora Lake. We already can’t wait to come back in a different season. What an incredible find! Look no further. This one is a gem.”
