Family-friendly holiday rentals in Espaly-Saint-Marcel

We had a lovely stay in this charming cottage. This house is particularly warm, well appointed and well equipped. The relaxation area keeps its promises with the Nordic bath under the pine trees and the sauna also in a fuste. Ghislaine and Bernard are welcoming, available and very nice. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Very good stay. The cottage was well equipped and everything was well functional. The place is very well placed in a quiet location, very close to the river "Le Lignon" Outside, in front of the cottage, the terrain is flat which allows for play activities with children. There is also a circular, wooden picnic space that allows 8 people to gather. It is also shaded. Very nice... There is an awning attached to the cottage that allows your car to be sheltered from bad weather. Cathy's place is nearby (100m) which is very convenient in case of need. Access to the village is possible in 20 minutes on foot by a quiet little road, even with a 5 year old. In Tence there are all the amenities to shop, go to restaurants, have cultural activities. Tence has a "Family" label, so there are a lot of activities offered to children.

We just had a very pleasant Pentecost weekend in this chalet. The accommodation perfectly matches the description and the hosts are very nice and caring. We felt at home for 3 days. The house is very well located in the middle of nature, it is very well insulated, you feel good there. Personally, I loved the book corner by the window. The terrace is great for warmer days :)

This is a beautiful campsite! We stayed in the Canadian tent and this is exactly the way you should camp. Comfort, nature & cosy indeed!

We had a great time at Anthony's place. Chalet offering multiple services (sauna, jacuzzi, good bedding, barbecue, ping pong, foosball, private lake, pizza oven/super sofa bread...) allowing everyone to find their own account and brighten each evening. The place is peaceful and the lake is very cute. Thanks for the croissants on Sunday mornings, local jams and juices. Recommended 😊

A small haven of peace where parents and children can relax. The setting is quiet and idyllic with many activities on site (Finnish bath, sauna, zip line, petanque, volleyball, table tennis, beams and slide, etc.). Pierre and his family are caring and attentive hosts. And the little visit from Doug, the four-legged mascot, was much appreciated :-) We recommend eyes a second thought!

Excellent. Peaceful cottage in a great setting. Beautiful fenced garden, very good for children and the dog. complete and functional equipment. The house is a little dark, but that's the lot of old stones and anyway, we don't come to the area to stay locked up. Martine is very welcoming and friendly. Anyway, we loved it!

You feel really good at Marie Pierre's, a house that breathes well-being, on the banks of the Loire and a 3-minute walk from the village. The evening walk along the Loire with the dogs is enjoyable. The house is cool, everything is there, nothing is missing to feel right at home :) Marie Pierre is super responsive and gives good advice. Around it there are plenty of walks to do, waterfalls, lakes, troglodyte village, and of course the Puy which is barely a few km by car. In short, a perfect stay. We'll be back for sure. You can rent without a second thought:)

We had a great week at Angélique and Vincent's. They are very welcoming and responsive if there are any issues and provide valuable advice if necessary. Very good accommodation, welcoming and understanding host. The place is ideally located. Everything was great. I recommend it.

Don't expect a hip stay with perfect amenities. But all is there and it all works. Sally's usage tips are fine. What a rest, what a space, and what an incredibly beautiful walks, so from home. In addition, a fine dart board, a pingpong table and a football or badminton court for the kids or yourself. Sally keeps herself available in the background, very nice and friendly.

Thanks to Ghislain and his family for their welcome, the cottage was perfect and we had a great evening in the garden!

Absolutely recommended. We were able to enjoy this large house, the beautifully maintained and spacious garden with terrace, and of course the private swimming pool. All necessities are available for a wonderful stay for 4 children, 4 parents. The bathroom upstairs is luxurious, with a lovely shower and bathtub. However, the (for us extra) room with bathroom downstairs, next to the garage, is a bit stuffy and - for that reason - we did not use it. Very friendly and helpful owners. Our compliments, we would love to come back.

Excellent family weekend at Yvette's! The house is spacious, the exterior perfect for BBQ evenings or ping pong tournaments. Quiet, surrounded by greenery, with plenty of activities 1/2 hour away by car: adventure park, games, visit Le Puy, swimming in the Allier, etc.
