Beautiful spot right on the ocean. Highly recommend.

We appreciated the proximity to the beach and the pools. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook a meal. The water in the apartment felt cold, but it did not bother us too much because we were hot coming from the beach. There is a shopping plaza close by, but you can get a greater variety of restaurants and stores to choose from if you drive 15-20 minutes. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we would definitely come back.

Not my first and won’t be my last stay with David. Always exceeds expectations and quick to respond.

Perfect for a digital nomad. Stayed here for two weeks, half a block away from a supermarket with pretty much everything you might need (fresh meat and chicken, fresh vegetables, good selection of imported beer, imported sodas, and kombucha), 3 blocks away from the Main road (gym, restaurants, cafes, etc). The kitchen is stacked with pots and utensils, AC worked great and the washer/dryer combo was the cherry on top. Residential area, so very quiet at night.

This place is beautiful, absolutely amazing views, the food at the hotel is fantastic. We had monkeys and tucans within 20' of the balcony. if this is available you should book it

The place is very nice. Very considerate to have ponchos and umbrellas, which came in handy. My only issue was the host and co-host both read a message from me asking a question. Neither of them responded, ever. I’m not sure if it was an oversight or intentional.

Melvin is a great host - super friendly and helpful. He met us early to help us drop our bags off and always communicated quickly. The place is clean and comfortable with a kitchen we could cook in. The balcony was great - we sat outside in the evening and observed the sloth in the tree right outside. Highly recommend for a couple looking to stay in Manuel Antonio.

Casa Baru is a beautiful home and a perfect location for accessing the beach and many great restaurants. When we walked in the door my kids said, “This looks like a celebrity’s house!”. The outdoor space is beautiful and serene and indoors is spacious and comfortable. Juan was super responsive to any questions we had and he had great local recommendations for restaurants. I highly recommend this beautiful home and Juan as a host!

Our family stayed for ten nights as a home base to explore the Pacific side of Costa Rica. The pool was fantastic! I especially enjoyed the bottom pool that doubles as hot tub (when my kids weren't in the upper half splashing the cold water into it). The pool is very large with lots of space for splashing, and there is so much wildlife and bird-watching off of the amazing porch and decks. We were mesmerized by the scarlet macaws that flew by and sometimes roosted nearby. Being in the mountains, you are literally in the clouds. It was other-worldly when they rolled in most afternoons. So cool! Indoors: we utilized the kitchen quite frequently, making dinner every night. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking. The living area was very comfortable and great for watching TV together in the evening. Bathrooms and bedrooms were well-appointed with what we needed, and the washer/dryer was great to have, as we are light packers and did get muddy some days. Overall a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home tucked into the jungle. The setting is very serene, with the sound of the river always in the background and the plethora of wildlife all around. The bed was very comfy, so a good nights rest was practically guaranteed. There are a few things I would note for anyone considering the home, especially if this is your first visit to the area. It is a 10+ minute rocky drive to the home off the main road, not a big deal with a sturdy car. Especially during rainy season, there’s a good chance you’ll lose power at some point, but seems to be restored quickly. Most places, including this home, discouraged you from flushing toilet paper, an adjustment from home. Being that this place is so small, there’s not a ton of privacy between the bathroom and bedroom, and the living area is not meant for lounging. That’s what the outdoor spaces are for! This was an experience unlike any other we’ve had in our previous visits to CR, I highly recommend it!

We enjoyed all the facilities that you provided, including that beautiful pool and the various places where we could enjoy meals. The AC units in the bedrooms worked perfectly and very efficiently, which is a real necessity at the beach. We enjoyed the huge top deck and enjoyed the ocean view it provided. The beach was perfect, and it like it was our own private beach. Very private. Stringing hammocks between the palm trees was a real treat for real relaxation with the music of the ocean. The Starlink Wi-Fi was exceptional and never failed and had coverage outside as well. Yeni and Mendoza were such a courteous and a special couple they couldn’t do enough for us. They were there but gave us privacy, yet always willing to help with everything. Mendoza an excellent griller from fish to hamburgers. They were key to us enjoying your beautiful home so much! M.A./Uvita were at the end of the trip and we didn’t get to spend as much time there. But we will definitely be back and would 100% stay at the same location or another property managed by Nico. The house was very clean and cool. Because of the rain the pool had leaves in it the night we got there but when we returned from our tour the next day the pool had been cleaned and it was refreshing and nice to chill around in the late afternoon. Nico and the property management offered excellent timely service including local recommendations, easy instructions to find things, and helping set up transportation. Highly recommend the Jungle House

It was an excellent experience in every way, the beautiful place surrounded by nature, the beach in front and it is a very clean beach with few people so it was like having a private beach just for us, the pool is very clean, we had everything we needed for our stay, it is perfect for vacationing with family or friends, the place is very private, the area is very quiet and without noise, you can only hear nature, animals, the waves of the sea, at night it rained and we slept very well, the house is in very good condition, many living areas to share, we were 14 people and we all left satisfied, we highly recommend it

Such a great property with relaxing and beautiful views. Got a chance to see lots of different birds and butterflies right on the property even heard some monkeys but they were far away. Over all a great place to stay if you just want to get away and be around nature

This was a beautiful condo on the ground floor. We sat on patio every morning watching the waves hit the beach. There were warning signs of rip tides at every beach we visited. I more timid kept hip deep but there were quite a few people out further. There were several pools available to us. We kept close to our Condo. It was the nicest place we stayed and most expensive. Not sorry in the least I rented it. We did a short hike to a waterfall near by and relaxed. Very chill and guarded too!

We absolutely loved this airbnb!! The view was incredible and the access to the beach made it so simple to enjoy our time. It’s the perfect location close by to Jaco, Manuel Antonio, and rainmaker, while being in a less touristy/ less crowded area. The entire complex felt incredibly safe, including the beach. There’s many stores nearby for groceries as well! Carrie was also incredibly helpful before and during our stay! Any questions we had, she responded within the hour and truly made this trip even better! Highly recommend!

First of all, congratulating Mary on the excellent attention and respectful treatment she gave us at all times, the place is really beautiful and close to restaurants and supermarkets. The access to the beach is 5 minutes walk, just cross a street and you are enjoying the best sunsets. The place is spotless and provided with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Would definitely visit again!!
