Vanesa’s place was a rare find during an extremely busy period whilst searching for listings, and I was extremely glad I did find her place. Everything was as described. The location is perfect: not too far away from the city centre and hence located in a peaceful residential neighborhood (away from the buzz & energy of the city to relax after an eventful day) but also close enough by walking distance to reach most of the major landmarks (Guggenheim within <17 mins walk). To add to this great find was my host Vanesa, who was extremely kind, hospitable and very friendly. She made the place feel like home, was immediately responsive to airbnb chat and was more than kind enough to leave coffee and muffins for breakfast (all for a very fair price!) When I come back to Bilbao, I will ensure to look out for Vanesa once more. Muchas Gracias Vanesa! 🙂

Rosa was very kind and gave me a lot of tips for visiting tourist spots. The house was clean and the room was comfortable. It matched the photos on the portal, and there was no noise. The house is very well connected to public transportation.

Fernando and his sister are very welcoming hosts. Upon our arrival, Fernando gives us plenty of explanations, he offers to lend us a transport card to make the round trip Galdakao Bilbao (14 min) for €4 for 2. He gives us the times when the train passes and the time of the last train so as not to find ourselves stranded in Bilbao. The train station is a 2 min walk. Access by car is very easy, there are quite a few (free) places available in the area. Fernando gave us maps of the city and the surrounding area (in French!) He doesn't speak English, but he's better at French than I am at Spanish :) For the rest, we use the translator for smooth communication. If you like animals, this is the perfect place, large garden with 3 friendly dogs, parrot, chickens and a very cute cat. His sister is particularly welcoming and friendly, we have a very pleasant time with her and the other guests. We recommend!

Moriah’s place was super cozy, clean and central! You’re right in the middle of the Casco Viejo and can reach anything by foot. Moriah is very friendly and helpful - an all around great host :) I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore Bilbao!
