Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Eyjafjörður

The cabin is a dream location on a horse ranch in a beautiful and very peaceful valley. The location is simply amazing and a short 10-15 drive into Akureryi. The cabin itself is quite large and was more space than we required as a family of 4 with two teenagers. We were very comfortable and so at peace staying at this property. Although located in a quiet valley, we had easy access to beautiful hikes, Akureryi and other destinations in the north. We had dinner in Akureryi each night but were happy to return to the cabin each night. I can’t recommend this property highly enough.

Tina’s home is very comfortable and clean. Since it’s her home, the kitchen is fully stocked and Tinna invited us to help ourselves to a variety of foods (thank you for the peanut butter!). A great place for children but note that the bathroom is on the first floor while the bedrooms are upstairs. The geothermal shower is awesome! We had trouble with the front door lock but Tina came right over when we called her and showed us the trick. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Le seul petit hic concerne la chambre qui est au sous sol, très humide À part cela nous avons passé un super séjour dans le logement de Margret

We loved our one night stop over in our journey around the Ring Road. The apartment had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. The view from the private balcony was spectacular. Our host was very friendly and helpful with all communications. And when we got a little lost finding the apartment, he was very responsive to help guide us. We wish we had more time here in beautiful Siglufjörður. We hope to be back.

Beautiful location - plus we were lucky enough to see northern lights right there! Place was as described, very comfortable, easy drive to downtown Akureyri. We had a wonderful time - thank you!

Stayed here for (unfortunately only) one night with a group of six people. Lovely house, very clean and with everything you need. Enjoyed every second of it. Four people could sleep upstairs and two downstairs with two separate bathrooms. Two minutes walking distance from village centre, port and Hering museum. And a beautiful view over the city and the fjord. Big recommendation! :)

We adored Herdís’ little home in the heart of Siglufjörður! Photos are a great representation of the space. We were very comfortable there as a family of four for a few days. Everything was beautifully clean, the kitchen was very well equipped, beds were cozy, the grill was perfect for our dinner of lamb kebabs one night, blackout curtains in the bedrooms were excellent (definitely a necessity in June when the sun never sets!). Note that there aren't any blinds or curtains in the main rooms so it's a bit of a fishbowl at night, but no problem. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a wonderful home away from home!

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einer sauberen und großen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung zu übernachten. Die Wohnung war äußerst geräumig und sehr gepflegt, was sofort einen positiven Eindruck hinterließ. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Lage: Die Boote für die Walbeobachtung sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Für den Weg zum Supermarkt wäre aber ein Auto ratsam. Insgesamt waren wir äußerst zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We loved the house and it eas wonderful having the hot tub each evening. The Hestasport team was fabulous at answerig questions on the rettir and helping arrange activities. In 4 days we went horseback riding, helped with a aheeo sirting, went whitewater rafting, explored the area, and ate at seceral fantadtic local restaurants. The hotel steos away from our house serves amazing food. Every part of this stay was wonderful. We highly recommend!

Even though the weather did not cooperate with our plans on this trip, having Soffia’s cozy apartment to come back to saved the day. This is one of the cleanest Air BNB’s we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the shower piping hot! There is a wonderful museum in Akureyri that has an amazing collection of maps and we loved Kaffi Ilmur for the delicious soups and pastries. Unfortunately we did not get to go whale watching because the weather was poor, but we can definitely recommend Baccala for the fish and chips! Soffia is an amazing host. She responded quickly to messages and was very, very thoughtful. We look forward to returning and cannot recommend Soffia’s cozy apartment enough.

The place was amazing, but when we arrived, the instructions showed a black lock box . The picture didn’t even match the two that were there , after trying several times with the code and texting Egill with no response we tried the white one and found the keys . And the whole week we were there no response or apology. Made me feel like he was just in it for the money and didn’t care . But again the place was nice . I would stay there again . Hope he reads this and changes his ways .. this probably won’t get posted because it makes him look bad .. but that’s the honest truth .

We had a great stay in Akureyri! The house was cozy, well located and clean. We enjoyed the location and the spaciousness as we baked in an extra day for rest here, and it was worth it. Would definitely recommend.

Björg is an amazing host! This was such a beautiful home! Everything about our stay was perfect. Extremely clean, breathtaking views of the property, wholesome home, close to all the sightseeing in the area. Laundry on site was great, beds were very comfortable, lots of sitting room and couches to relax and play cards! This stay was one of my favorite parts of our trip, I will always remember how great of a stay this was. We got a flat tire earlier in the day from our adventures but Björg and her husband saved the day by changing our tire for us! Such nice people! Overall our stay was absolutely perfect! We will 100% be back!!

We had a great stay at this apartment! The location is central and parking was very convenient just a block away.

This Airbnb in Akureyri was a great choice, as it was close to the centre and the interior was really nice (furnished with wooden mid-century furniture, which was a big plus for me). Helga, our host was very friendly and helpful, she recommended great restaurants, we tried one of them, and had a top notch experience.

This was one of our favorite stays in Iceland! The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped, cozy and close to so many activities! Our host provided helpful detailed information which really made for a relaxing and easy stay! Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing time here! Our two year old loved the kids bedroom and playing with all the cars. The hot tub was delightful. Everything was so beautiful and comfortable. And such a great location! Very easy to get everywhere.

L'alloggio era nuovo di restauro, perfettamente arredato per accogliere gli ospiti. C'è un gattino che accoglie i visitatori e che può essere coccolato. Casa di Anna è confortevole e comoda come campo base per esplorare i dintorni. La cucina mette a disposizione tutto quello che occorre per farsi da mangiare. Gli spazi sono più indicati per una famiglia con figli. Noi eravamo 4 adulti e siamo comunque riusciti a dividerci gli spazi senza troppi problemi.

absolutely loved this amazing place. The condo is clean and quiet the island is beautiful. the hosts are so incredibly nice and accommodating. my only regret is not staying longer.

It is very difficult to get someone to offer you their own house for your stay, and for one night only. Andri and his family do it. It is unbelievable. As amazing is their beautiful home. Magnificent, beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It doesn't deserve 5 points out of 5, it deserves 10 out of 5. Pity that on a trip around Iceland you have to rush to see the sites and can't enjoy the house for a few hours awake, having a drink on the beautiful terrace. Extraordinary. More than recommended. Olga was a wonderful host. She is helpful, friendly, welcoming and responsive. The home is perfectly clean and very well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The farm and surrounding area are beautiful. The church and cemetery were charming and interesting. Her recommendation for homemade ice cream at Skutais farm was much appreciated! I would recommend Olga place 100%!
