We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

Excellent stay, pleasant, charming and relaxing place, a nice decor in a really cute place. Alexandra and her husband are very pleasant and responsive, a pleasure to come across hosts like them. The place is perfectly equipped, you can't miss anything. Very good hot tub, very nice and completely private, available when you want and it's a pleasure. Remote accommodation, quiet and yet close to shops, very well located. Unbeatable value for money, I'll be back without worries:)

Great value for money, the location is great (near a supermarket 5 min drive, near Royan and Saintes), this house will take you away from the city. Beware of having 1 bathroom for 10 people (but we know this from the reservation) Otherwise, really in line with expectations, I recommend it!

Everything is relaxing. The old stone mill and its green environment for the eyes, the sound of the river and the birdsong for the ears, the smell of trees in bloom and cut grass. The mill is a 5-10 minute walk to all the amenities that the small medieval town of Pons offers. Louise and Michael welcomed us warmly, caring about our well-being in their home while preserving our privacy. We had a great weekend at Moulin Chaillou, we can only recommend it. We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

We had a great stay in your house, 4 couples and 1 single person, plenty of room for everyone, the 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets are highly appreciable. Air conditioning for each room for everyone's comfort. A perfectly maintained exterior, the pool was highly appreciated and the grills around the sheltered barbecue a wonderful idea to get through the rain. We would highly recommend your rental. We would also like to thank your friend who welcomed us very pleasantly on Friday with a smile

Impeccable house, a real peaceful corner, with a very nice garden, jacuzzi pool and all outdoor amenities. We met as a family and organized my daughter's baptism and the meal on the beautiful terrace, everyone was delighted with the environment and the house. Impeccable cleanliness, responsive host, we were even able to enter the premises a little earlier, the hosts were very accommodating. I recommend it for nice gatherings with family or friends! Only one small downside, it lacked some basic items, such as coffee, sugar, for example. We had to go and buy coffee and sugar in a hurry in the evening for our breakfast the next day.

A really lovely place surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to local towns. Bordeaux is a 90 min drive through some charming villages. I brought my dog and she loved the fenced garden. She loved Jonathan too! In fact, both Jonathan and Lesley are the most welcoming, considerate, generous and helpful of hosts. I stayed for a few weeks and would return in a heartbeat.

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful house on the banks of the Dordogne. The location is ideal, the environment quiet and peaceful, close to Saint Emilion, Libourne, and many castles and vineyards. The house is superb, very comfortable, perfectly equipped, and faithful to the listing in every way. Pimprenelle and her family took great care of us, and gave us excellent advice on visits or good restaurants that we enjoyed. We recommend 100%!

We had a fabulous week in this little hidey hole in a beautiful location with wonderful hosts. Alicia’s cooking is to die for along with Michael’s burgers and both Alicja and Michal were attentive, helpful and happy to look after us. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fiona warmly welcomed us. She was available and flexible on the arrival and departure. The garden setting is sublime. A peaceful place to relax. We'll be back next year.

7 of my extended family and I stayed at Christel and Marie’s house. We had an amazing stay, using the house as a base to visit the area but also to relax by their wonderful pool. The house is large and spacious and suitable for all ages. The description is very accurate and the house itself as everything you need, a home away from home. We also used their bbq and ping pong table! We were able to visit Bordeaux, Cap Ferret and Lacanau with ease. The area is very quiet with no traffic and a local supermarket only 5 mins away. With 3 families, we had 2 cars that fitted fine on their property. The communication was excellent and they answered all our queries quickly and we met Marie in person, who was very friendly! We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. We would love to come again!

We had a very good weekend in Yohann's cottage as part of an EVG. The cottage is well-equipped, and it is in a beautiful environment. Yohann is a very good host, responsive and human. I can only recommend this stay.

A little corner of paradise! We had a wonderful week in Elodie's accommodation, which faces the forest (with many birds to observe). It has everything we needed, as well as a quiet and cozy atmosphere. I recommend this accommodation without hesitation and especially a big thank you to Elodie who was always full of good advice, radiant and very pleasant :)

We had a very pleasant stay at Claire and Stephen’s property.

We were together as a family for a unfortunately very rainy Easter weekend. But the space is spacious, the rooms are large and everything went well. Very satisfied with the cottage we already knew, under beautiful sunshine and we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden, well equipped.

We were delighted with the accommodation offered by Benjamin to spend a night there before our flight the next day, the airport is 5 minutes away. Benjamin was flexible for our arrival and departure, advised us on good places to eat, and the accommodation was clean. We will gladly come back if the opportunity arises, accompanied by our two children.

I 100% recommend Antony's accommodation. Everything is done to make you feel good, very calm and peaceful. Big plus for the landscaped garden and the toy room if you go with children. Many nearby restaurants, bakery, and supermarkets. Antony is very responsive so that the stay is as pleasant as possible. I'll go back there from time to time.

Well-located apartment, close to the center of Saujon, ideal for resting in a rural and soothing setting. It is very well maintained and the equipment is complete. Very nice welcome from Nadine.

We only stayed 2 nights, but wish it could have been more! This place is perfect for a family getaway. Maite provided everything we could have possibly needed for our 18 month old and more. The location is perfect and there is lots to do within the local area. We hope to be back in the future with family and friends!
